We hired bike for 3 days, Innova Crysta for 2 days and airport pickup and drop, they are offering competitive rates compared to other operators. Right from the first call with Mr Tashi, he gave all the information in detail about weather conditions and general details. Bikes are in good condition and Mr Towsif helped to choose correct bike, he picked and dropped from the hotel. Innova Crysta was new, clean and well maintained, pilot was very well experienced with difficult roads of Nubra and Pangong. For Bike, Mr Towsif helped to choose correct bike. It was clean and well maintained condition. Overall it was a great experience. You can trust Mr Tashi and Towsif ❤️ Kudos and cheers to them 🎉 Surely recommend.

Took these 2 bikes from these guys - Guy called Tashi - helped us on phone calls even before we landed in Leh (about all the weather conditions etc.,) [we didnt even book the bikes then] As soon as we landed in Leh, we went straight to the location - guy called Tauseef greeted us. HE gave us the best bikes at the mosttt reasonable price as compared to the market prices. There were only 3 himalayan 450 available at their shop - we inspected the bikes and found some issues with tyres, brake pads, lever position of clutch, gear etc., Tauseef immediately went out got a mechanic and fixed all the issues. We did entire ladakh circuit - leh - khardungla - nubra - shyok river road to pangomg - hanle - nerbola pass - umlingla - nyoma - leh | this stretch is crazy off road with lot of water crossings, mud, dirt, stones, sand and what not. Trust me - the bikes didn't fail - no puncture, no issues, tyres were amazing, engines were amazing. At times throughout the night, the bikes got covered in snow by the time we woke up, the bikes started without any issues. Throughout the trip - the bikes were our best friends. And more than the bikes - the hospitality of Tauseef bhai - giving us extra brake pads, and stuff like that stood out! Overall, if u wanna rent bikes - go here blindly. They accept all the changes u ask them to do for the bikes, give u buffers, and consult you like friends!!! Big shoutout to Tauseef and Tashi! 🙌🏻

This rental place is the best you can find in all of Leh. The owner Tashi bhai is a legend. He helps his customers with anything and everything. He helped me with my entire ladakh trip, starting from hotel bookings to helping with itinerary and what not. I am extremely delighted to have find a genuine place to rent bikes when in Ladakh. I rented a Himalayan 450cc bike for 9 days, the rate I was offered by these people was considerably less than what I was offered by other tour operators. The bike was in mint condition. I don't have a tourer bike so I rent bikes where ever I go. I can assure you that bikes is such great condition are hard to find anywhere. Everything was perfect. Tashi bhai suggested us places to visit and stays everywhere, he himself is a traveller and has extreme knowledge about every corner in Ladakh. He suggested me when to leave and what to carry. I couldn't be more happier with my trip to Leh, thanks a lot to Tashi bhai and Sky Pillar. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. ❣️

Me and my brother rented 2 Himalayan 450s, for an 8-day trip. Starting from Leh, we covered Nubra valley, Pangong Lake, Hanle and then returned to Leh. We were initially being handed bikes with more than 30,000 km on the odometer. But with some convincing, we were given bikes with ~19,000 km. One of the 2 bikes ran absolutely smoothly throughout the ~1100 km road trip. The other one had a few issues. 1. The motorcycle would time & again start missing power, sort of like a hiccup. We initially thought it was because of the full tank of gas, but then it kept happening even when the tank was less than 50% filled. The solution was to stop for a moment, open the lid of the gas tank and then it would continue to run fine. This issue was a small one with an easy fix. 2. The other issue that happened, fortunately on the last day when we were close to Leh, was that upon full lock of the handle bar, the bike's ignition would cut off abruptly. This was a little dangerous, especially during taking U-turns and slow speed maneuvers. But thankfully, it happened only on the last day and did not cause anything unfortunate. I understand that these bikes are rented and one should be prepared to expect some issues here and there, that is how it is. Despite these issues in the bike, I would still have given 5 stars because of the professionalism of 2 out of the 3 people we interacted with at Skypillar. The lady who sits at the reception and Mr. Wang, a young 19-year-old guy who looks after the bikes, were very friendly and professional. The reason I give 3 stars and not 5, is due to the interaction we had with the owner of this business. While we were casually chatting with Wang, when our bikes were being handed over to us, he had told us that often people who rent the motorcycles are not regular riders, and sometimes they end up keeping their right foot on the rear brake lever, which ends up consuming the rear brake pads, and also causing some damage to the rear brake system. I personally am a motorcycle enthusiast and have ridden ~ 50,000 km throughout my life. I am well aware of how to ride a motorcycle responsibly & safely. When the motorcycles were handed to us, I had pointed out that the front brake pads for one of the bikes had only 30% life left. We were told not to worry and were asked to take the bikes as it is. Although we agreed, I was still apprehensive and did not want to end up in a risky situation if the pads ended up being completely worn off during our ~1,100 km trip. So I decided to take it easy and use a combination of front as well as rear brakes to ensure that I do not consume much of the front brake pad. When we returned to the shop after the trip to give the motorcycles back, as I slowly came to a halt using the rare brake, the owner of the business came to me furiously and accused me of putting my foot on the brake as I rode. I tried to explain to him that that is not the case and I was coming to a halt using the rear brake. I also tried to explain to him that when I ride a motorcycle, I put the balls of my feet on the peg and brace the bike with my ankles and thighs (the correct way to sit on a motorcycle). The owner still went on with the accusations until I asked him to check the front brake pads for himself, upon which he stopped it. Before that, he asked us "not to teach him to ride a bike" and "do not become Valentino Rossi", which in hindsight, I think was really funny. This was the only incident in my 10 days in Ladakh, that someone spoke to me rudely, otherwise all the other people I met were extremely friendly and hospitable. I can understand the owner's frustration because of the people he has to deal with, but I think the judgement made by him at that time was incorrect. Anyways, as I mentioned that one of the bikes was completely fine, the other had minor issues. Please do expect this to happen to you if you rent bike from any establishment not just this. Please pick a bike with lesser mileage, be it from here or any other shop. There are multiple other local shops in Leh as well.
