I was planning on renting a bike from here. Ines, who runs the customer service on WhatsApp, is really great at communicating over WA both in English and Indonesian. She is super responsive, so for customer service, I would give 5 stars. Unfortunately upon arriving, I tried 3 different bikes, and all 3 bikes had many crash marks/scrapes on them and were also visibly dirty with dust on them. When I tried riding them, they also didn’t ride very smoothly and some of them made suspicious sounds. I see that they have great reviews, so maybe all of the more well maintained bikes were taken, but among the 3 bikes I rode, and the other ones I saw in the lot, they all weren’t in great condition. My intention isn’t to bash this business, but just to give constructive feedback. I understand that as a rental company, bikes will not look brand new. But when I see a lack of attention to detail with keeping a bike clean and relatively well maintained, I will opt for a different option. I ended up trusting my instincts and going with another company, I could immediately feel the difference in how much smoother the bike ran elsewhere. Again, try it for yourself. I may have come on an off day. I still think they are worth checking out because the customer service is great. Take a look and make sure to test the bikes yourself so you can make an informed decision 🙏🏼
