Bike and motorbike rental

My husband and I rented her regular bikes for the day here, paid $4.63 total. The owner oiled the chains and set the seats up for us all with a baby on her back! They were perfect for biking around town, big comfortable seats, the route was very flat, no need for gears here. Great way to spend the day!

Owner is very handy with repairs, hence any issues I had with my rental scooter were immediately dealt with. Bike worked perfectly for the time of the rental. There are three different price points for scooters, presumably biased on engine size. As everywhere else in the country, many roads are in terrible condition, so take that into consideration when driving.

Rented a scooter for a longer ride to Nateuy, which is quite a difficult road. The stronger scooter was for 250k kip which is an average price here in Luang Namtha. It was quite obvious that the scooter had a history, but it was reliable and did the job well. Also dealing with the staff was straightforward. Overall, I can't complain and must recommend this place. :-)

The regular mountain bikes were not well maintained, but we were able to use them for the 2 hour tour. The owner was ok. Maybe pay the extra bit for the other bikes?

I paid for 2 full days and even though I asked if I could return the motorcycle sooner, I didn't get a refund even though I asked about it the owner on whatsapp
