Rented a scooter here for a few days at 250 baht/day, no issues whatsoever. Upon pickup I was offered the options to either leave my passport or 3k in cash as a deposit. Opted for the latter, got it back on return right away. During the initial handover I was shown all existing scratches on the bike, they were properly documented, and I was even advised by the owner to take pictures of other things I noticed, just in case. Overall a flawless and professional rental experience, would definitely come again.

This is probably the best motorcycle rental shop in Chiang Mai. I had great experience with Aek motorbike rental service. I go a Honda Scoopy for two days, and everything worked great. Helmets were provided and the bike was powerful enough for us to visit the Doi Suthep mountain. You may deposit the documents (passport, driver’s license etc.) instead of the cash. The shop owner was very helpful and friendly. There is no hidden charge, rental and return is simple, everything goes smoothly. Definitely would like to rent a motorbike from Aek again.

It was a pretty easy process to rent from these folks and the scooters I rented (two separate occasions) both worked well. I was able to keep my passport with a deposit of 3000THB which was promptly returned to me when the scooters came back in the same condition.

He is a great shop owner. He is very pleasant, kind and sincere. I was very satisfied renting a bike here, he was even willing to unbox a new helmet for me to use when I dared not use other helmets. Wish your business will grow stronger in the future.

The bike was reliable, and relatively cheap (250B/day) but the service was not great. Just felt like they didn’t want us there or want our business. We are renting bikes again in Chiang Mai but not here.
