This is the spot. If you're planning on motorcycling in northern Thailand, you need to come here first. They got your bike, your gear, and everything you could possibly want to know about what route to take, what to see, where to go, and how to get there. They'll match you with a bike appropriate to your skill and journey; they know what roads are under construction; they know everything. And then there is the kitchen: fantastic BBQ options and khao soi. Be sure to ask when they are planning their next smoker. Anyone planning on doing a bike tour of Mae Hong Son will benefit from a visit to the gurus at Biker's Corner. Sit down, have a beer, learn something, ride safe.

I was looking for a bigger bike for the Mae Hong Son loop and found this place. They have a good selection of bikes and gear - I rented a cb500 in top shape and had no issue getting gear that suits me. Ian was very accommodating and even gave me some tips about the loop. I also wanted to upgrade to another bike (nx500) for one day when I came back and Ian messaged me when it become available, I really appreciated it! In general a top place to rent a motorbike - I’ll definitely come back next time I’m in Chiang Mai.

Rented a sweet cb500x here for my Doi ang Khang and Chiang rai loop. Very helpful staff and great motorcycle condition. No hustle or funny business- highly recommended.

The two Aussie blokes that run it ( I assume own it) were great to chat to. The bike was in reasonable condition ( I’ve had worse ) and price ok - 300tb daily ( about $15 AUD) - for the old one. 350tb for the new one However when I took it back 3 days later the Thai guy on duty tried to stitch me up for old damage and accused me of dropping it ( on both sides). One of the Aussie blokes was called over and opened with “ you crash it mate?” - followed by “ did you take photos” , to which I replied “ I was too busy chatting to you Aussie blokes and you both seemed trustworthy so didn’t feel I needed to “ After some to and fro they relented ( as it was obviously old damage) and gave me my 3000tb deposit back, but it was a struggle and it was like they were doing me a favour. For the record I’ve been riding for over 45 years and didn’t damage it. Surely old scrapes ( or new ones as they arise) should be recorded for future rentals instead of trying to stitch up innocent punters. I was going to rent a bigger bike for the loop but went elsewhere after that. By all means use them but be careful and take a full and comprehensive video ( the other place insisted I do that ). There are plenty of options in town. A business that knowingly hirers a bike with damage then attempts to retain a security deposit won’t get my business again. The response below is total bullshit. I returned the bike at midday and an hour early. No torch required. Obviously the owner is confused with another hire. Reaffirms it was an attempt at a total stitch up. Go elsewhere people.

The sellers have zero sense of customer service. We went there to rent a bike and agreed on both the day rate and the late return hourly rate because I was taking out the bike at 4 pm and wanted to return it at 7 pm. We After that, I went to an ATM to withdraw cash. When I returned, the staff refused to write the agreed late return hourly rate on the payment receipt, which was concerning, especially given how often verbal commitments are later denied. When I insisted that the rate be mentioned on the payment receipt, they refused to rent us the bike altogether and dismissed us in a very rude manner. Fortunately, we found the same scooter at a better rate at a nearby shop.
