No fuss! Just go in, sign stuff, pick helmet and go. Must have international drivers license or Thai license. They only had bikes for 250/day when we arrived, but that’s ok, more fancy bikes to choose if you want to do any mountain driving. 3000 if you want to use cash deposit instead of passport. No fuss when we dropped it off. Will return to this store when we visit Chiang Mai again.

We rented a motorbike for one day — it’s less crowded than the big shop on the other side of the road and 50 THB cheaper. I had an IDP, so the rental was smooth and the return took only 30 seconds to get the cash deposit back. Our bike didn’t have a phone holder at first, but we asked and they provided one.

No nonsense experience. If you have either international driving license or Thai driving license, you are good to go. Of course you will have to deposit some cash (3000THB for my case as I rented a Yamaha Fino) if you decide not to leave your passport. It's just fair enough in my opinion. They will suggest you the type of bike you should rent according to your trip plan; i.e., if you plan to go to the mountainous areas, they'll recommended a tougher and more capable bike. The young male staff (in my photos) was super helpful and professional. Nevertheless, it's always good to take photos and videos of the bike to eliminate any dispute when you return the bike. And take a photo of the fuel gauge/meter too so that you will only refill to a certain amount. My best thought is that as soon as you arrive at the bus terminal, you can walk 1 minute up to their shop and rent a bike. Then use it for the whole trip and return it when you go back. No hassles in between and no headache for the transportation for the whole trip. RECOMMENDED!

Thought I’d try this place as it had ok reviews and was close to me. I browsed the bikes waiting for staff to come out of the little office they have. They didn’t so I went into the office and was met with a seriously rude guy. I just laughed and walked out. Good way to get business guys! There’s a few other rental places on the same street but most won’t rent to foreigner. I ended up finding one on the street. Nice guy and service but paid over the odds. While out on the bike I see many places with more competitive pricing near old town. That’s what I’ll do once my first rental period is up. Just needed a bike urgently today so paid more.

You have to leave international driving license (ok fine) and a passport here PLUS 2000 baht or so deposit. Which is a big red flag.
