Besides freeing up my hands (from crutches) and allowing me to do things around the kitchen, it allowed me to go from school halls to gravel parking lots. On Thanksgiving Day, 2021 I injured my foot, dropping a heavy baking dish on it. Rather than shopping on Black Friday, we went to Urgent Care, and learned that it was in fact, broken. After the pain and frustration of hobbling around that afternoon, I quickly decided to look for a knee scooter rental. Austin Knee Scooter had scooters to rent and the site showed the scooters had small bicycle-like tires. When I called, I figured that I would just leave a message on voicemail and someone would get back to me on Monday. However, Jared answered. We spoke briefly, and set up delivery day. He made is so very easy with documentation sent to me via email, and delivered the scooter. Not only did he explain how to properly use it, where to place my knee so I had best posture, he also took me outside to ensure I understood how to use it fully.
