I went here to rent a scooter for an M endorsement motorcycle skills test. It was a great experience! They will let you rent a scooter and then practice in their back alley with a setup very similar to the DMV's test. It is the perfect distance to rent for the Chicago North DMV location on Elston. If you review the skills test exercises in the motorcycle manual, watch a couple YouTube videos, and most importantly, take advantage of the practicing they let you do, you will pass too!

Let's cover the easy part first. City Scooters is offering a great value by providing an easy to ride bike when taking the "M" class license road test, delivering it legally to the Chicago North DMV, and providing a warm up and instruction out behind the shop. Now I want to cover the real value. I am a 60-year-old beginner who recently took a two day motorcycle rider safety class in preparation for the road test. I'm not afraid to acknowledge that I am an over thinker, which sometimes results in a bit of anxiety. Marty and Carlos found a way to meet me where I was in terms of capability and mindset. Yes, they were great instructors. Yes, I passed the test. That is not what made my experience great. Marty and Carlos made it great by meeting me at a human level with caring and kindness until I was ready to go take the test. As always seems to be the case, the people make the difference. I highly recommend utilizing their service and working with these guys. You won't be disappointed.

The employees are willing to help assist you with all the training and motorcycle for you to be successful in passing the DMV road test. They also give you ample time to practice and get the feel for the motorcycle you will taste with

Rented there scooter for my M class and it was perfect nice and easy they let me practice before the test in there back lot and I got a perfect score on the test highly recommend for anyone taking the M class test. Perfect size especially for those cones!

Updating since my review was commented on and deserves a reply. Original was 3 stars First time being here, main mechanic is awesome. Love his vibes. Whole place honestly feels amazing. They break my mirror, i buy new ones and they install them for free. Bring it back in later due to another issue. The bikes not charging the battery, they fix it. I come in to pay, they say they are charging me for headlights since they are out as well, i tell them they were working when dropped off as i always do a walk around before i ride. They still make me pay. I open up my bike when i get home because i hear something rattling around. They broke my horn mount and just threw it under some wires. So between breaking my mirror, popping my headlights, and then breaking my horn mount and not telling me. I think three stars was “fair” im going down to one star now. Feel free to reach out to talk about it. My old review starts below To start off, my time at this shop was an amazing one. The main mechanic is an extremely understanding and experienced mechanic who works on a wide variety of bikes and scooters. The prices are fair for the work they do and while they do get allot of business they still make it a priority to get your bike back to you better than it came in, asap. That being said, the only complaint I had was the accidental over tightening and breakage of a rear view mirror on my bike. The other mirror was already broken so it was a good opportunity for me to change both of them at least, which he installed free of charge after I ordered new ones. Not too big of a deal tbh, things happen.

Was told because of my CDL I had to go to another dmv branch and for some reason they couldn't bring the bike as they promised. I asked for my money back since they couldn't fulfill their end of the deal and the manager stated "its my problem and hanged up the phone". Beware of this place, they lied to me and kept my money
