EPM Motorsports: Motorcycle, ATV, and Powersports Repair - Chicago

These ppl are the freaking BEST!!! I stopped in for some Engine Ice during a recent trip through Chicago after nearly overheating in traffic. They not only had what I needed in stock at a reasonable price, but let me use a funnel to get my FJR right w/ coolant. They were welcoming, kind, and professional and we need more shops like this. -B Mo

I was sent to EPM by my previous mechanic Scott Lunt, now retired, with an not straightforward problem: my 2003 BMW F650CS was vandalized during a heist ( multiple areas of damage including ignition). Mike and his team methodically and frugally addressed the issues, bringing the motorcycle back to rideable conditions. In addition to the shear mechanical prowess of the EPM team, I enjoyed the clear communications including detailed electronic work estimates. This may be a relatively young shop, however, it is run efficiently and effectively under Mike Hani's guidance. I am grateful they accepted my dad’s motorcycle to do work on. It is a 1988 Honda Goldwing and other shops refused because it was too old or they don’t like to deal with big touring bikes. They got the repairs fixed and it works excellent. They missed noticing the front brake caliber needing to be rebuilt. Still, in spite of that I would go to them again. They did fix perfectly. EMP staff is very friendly and patient. They have excellent communication with everything documented from text, emails and phone calls with an online system. The system also is easy to use to pay as you go. I was so confident in their work that I had peace of mind riding it from Chicago to Florida alone. Pic in dad’s garage.

Great shop. Great work. They took care of my bike after it got stolen. Dealt with insurance and a lot of back and forth. This was my first bike and they took the time to answer all my questions. As a woman, they were great. None of the condescending stuff I’ve had with other mechanics. Just great overall.

Took my jet ski in end of season for winterization and an oil change that also included a nice detailing and washed to get the algae removed from the season. Everyone I worked with was pleasant to deal with responsive and I would definitely work with them again and I intend to next season if the jet ski fires up nice and easy next spring; I can’t verify the work done until I started up next year, but the detailing in the cleaning turned out great. I have no reason to believe they didn’t do a thorough job thanks! Also bought a hat bc they looked cool! Happy to support local business! I’ll be sure to update my review at the start of the season!
