I rented a Polaris Slingshot and ended up with the R version with a manual gearbox — the latest and most powerful one available. Absolute great fun. I honestly can’t imagine a better way to enjoy sightseeing in Miami than driving a Slingshot. It might not be the best experience on busy highways, but taking it along the coastal roads is unreal. It’s hands down one of the best ways to see the beauty of Miami. The Slingshot definitely turns heads and gets a lot of attention everywhere you go. We had it for 24 hours, and every single hour behind the wheel felt like a unique experience. We’re visiting Miami again soon and will 100% be renting one again. Next time, I might try the automatic version just to compare. Highly recommended.
