Go X - Scooter Rentals in Honolulu 24/7

My daughter and I had a blast today riding around Waikīkī and Honolulu and it was her first time riding anything like that especially since she was not interested in riding a Go X scooter plus I said that she wasn’t allowed to ride on the side walk but almost immediately after she road around a parking garage for a few minutes she said that she was comfortable with it and then we zipped out of the parking garage right in traffic and she fallowed behind me and we drove from near the zoo and all the way up to the Ala Moana mall and then back basically covering the whole of Waikiki area and every time I looked back I saw a toothy smile.

All the scooters I found had nearly dead batteries. Finally found a stand with green batters but the scooter wouldn't start or go. Finally it would go but they're uncomfortable to stand on, beat to hell, and expensive. Paid $9 to go a few blocks and returned it as it was garbage. Not like Lime scooters at all which are awesome. I won't be renting a Go X scooter again.

So here I am again posting because they said they were going to refund my money and I sent them three emails and they still haven’t sent it thanks! The only reason why I even gave it a one star is because me and my daughter did have fun on it for the 20 minutes that we wrote on it which they charge me like $13 for the one scooter that we shared riding around but the next day I got a charge that they were trying to charge my card two payment of $34 and some change so almost 60 something dollars but my card was locked so they couldn’t charge it so after that pretty much every day I would get attempt charges for like five dollars and Three dollars and six dollars a whole bunch of them and it happened for almost a month. I would get these charges daily, but since my card was locked, they could never charge them except for one day I didn’t lock my card back and they got the money of almost $70 $67 and some change so I sent them an email which it took the company almost 2 weeks to get back to me and I finally got a hold of somebody. They didn’t send me any kind of apology for charging my card all that extra money they gave me a refund of the original day of $13 and some change really so I try to attempt to getting in contact with them again which it has been no luck so basically they ripped me off for 67 which really sucks because it was fun to ride on and I probably would rent them again if this had not happened and they have done nothing to try to fix the problem Besides the $13 So I got a response back from Go X that they would refund my money I have sent them my information twice and yet I still haven’t received anything back or even a response. It would be nice if they were going to keep their word and refund the money thank you again

Scooter motor was dead (not battery) was able to go one block forcing me to abandon and get separated from my party. Now the company is threading me against legal action via text message because I did not return the scooter (I rented off the street) to the approved return area. THE MOTOR WAS DEAD!! So it’s my responsibility to DRAG it there?? Additionally, where I “found” the scooter was in an area with about 8 to choose from. The one I rented was the only one that would unlock, or the screen worked, or didn’t have a dead battery. Phone listed on website does not work. An autobot in the message portion of the app tried crediting me $5 and then again $8 for my unfortunate event which I declined having made the decision to never use again due to being stranded and separated from my party and spending additional money for a bus fare. I will point out that you do not see many of these scooters being used around Honolulu. Most scooters are personal use and not rented.

We visited in September. There was a mishap with the scooter, (long story) I have been going back and forth since September, with them promising a refund, we are about to be in January, and nothing. I am extremely frustrated, HORRIBLE HORRIBLE customer service. They say things they think are going to make it okay for the moment, but don’t follow through. After reading the reviews, it’s their normal, super unfortunate. Business scam!
