I had such a great experience! The whole process was super easy from booking online to picking up the car, everything went smoothly. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming; you can tell they really care about their customers.

Aloha everyone, I hope you enjoying your vacation. I was looking for a car to rent to go around the island and I found this local company. I like supporting local businesses and companies in the islands. They have so many car options you can choose which is nice 👍🏼. I got the Branco and it was a fantastic experience, the car was clean and the process is easy with the instructions , the website is very simple and easy, they sent to your email and the manager number is available if you need any help or if you have any questions. The price is reasonable for the location in the heart of Waikiki and the free 🆓 parking is amazing ( come on where you can find that the hotels charge at least 50$ for one night) . It was fun to rent the car from here and nice 😊 experience to have with them. For sure try to rent from this company if you find an available car with them since they are busy all the time. Cheers 🍻

I had a great experience renting with Island Car Rental. The car was very clean and in excellent condition. Pickup was easy and convenient. The employee answered all my questions and even made some good recommendations of things to do on my trip. I will be renting from them again.

We rented from Island Car Rental in early December 2025 for 24 hours. The car was excellent (new Nissan Kicks or Rogue, can’t remember), clean, easy to pick up right from a neighboring hotel. Business employees were quick to respond to email, very courteous. A little strange that their business is run out of the 6th floor garage, but with the price, free overnight parking, close to our hotel for pickup and dropoff, and good communication, it was well worth it. We plan to visit again soon and rent again! Highly recommend.

The staff was really nice and helpful which makes leaving this review difficult but the car we received was completely unsafe. I first noticed minor front end damage and the collision monitor was disabled. Not a big deal. We got all the way to the North shore before I happened to park with the wheel chocked and saw the tires. They are dry rotted, edge worn and the tread is below the safety bars. I noticed the alignment was off while driving. This car simply shouldn't be on the road and it's unacceptable that the agency doesn't complete a basic safety inspection to catch and address these things. I'll never rent from an independent agency again!
