Best motorcycle rental I’ve ever had! Mike was fantastic to work with, had two of us fixed up with great Harley’s within a half hour of walking in. It’s clear that these are his bikes and he’s proud to present them. The Heritage Softail I rode was as smooth as my own bike at home! You won’t be disappointed.

Saw that there was a bike rental shop near me so of course I booked a rental. Big Mike and Rob will help you with their rental and they do a great job. Their bottom line is to ensure that their customers enjoy the island on two wheels. I had such a good time on my first day, that I rented another cruiser so I can take my friends around the island. I followed the waterfall and volcano routes on their website, and had a blast. If I return to the big island, Ill likely rent a bike for 3-days, I think that is the perfect amount of time to explore most of the solid spots on the island.

Had a fantastic experience with my rental of a Yamaha Tracer 9GT from Big Island Motorcycle! The bike was in great shape, fueled, tire pressure spot on all ready to ride. If you have the time I absolutely recommend a 24 hour rental the island is big and there are so many great things to ride and see. I picked the bike up at 9am and road into the night and covered just over half the island. I could see a couple days and spending time at more hiking spots and overlooks.

Mike is great, his machines are great! Nice atmosphere while getting signed up for a Harley ride on the island. I had a blast rode about 275 miles in a day. We stayed in Kona and wanted to tour the island and see more. Being riders, what better way to do so than on a Harley Davidson. We did not get to see the entire island, but much of it and got to experience Hawaiian village culture and foods along the way. Mike is a great and very friendly guy. He did not have the 2019 Street Glide we reserved, so he put us on a 2020. He told us that if we did not get a call from him that there was no hurry having it back by our scheduled time and we could drop it after hours. This was a blessing because we got caught in a heavy rain on top of the mountain and it set us back a couple of hours. Mike offers many different vehicle options to suit everyone. He even rents beach and water sports gear. If we ever make it back to the big island we would definitely rent from Mike again. Thanks for the experience Mike.

Overall a good experience. The bike was mostly in good order with a few functional shortfalls and cosmetics that reflect 6 year old bikes that "live outside". This bike on the day I rented it, had nearly. 60,000 miles, did not have a functioning horn and was missing the heel shifter, but ran strong and handled well enough for a wee tour of the island. They do offer helmets and protective gloves and jackets which was a great convenience, but it is a mistake to not bring your own gear if you can.

Battery died i block away. He did tell me about and said turn it off this way and you be fine. Well made it around the block stoped for food went back to the bike and nothing. So dont waste your money very rude and I did swear and lose my temper after being accused of being a moron about bikes I told them to take care of there stuff and walked out he said they do and laughed. So waste your money dont waste it but not worth it.
