I rented a lightweight scooter, 4 wheeler. It was in great condition and clean. The battery last me the whole day without having to recharge it ,was easy to dissemble to transport it in my trunk. Gold Mobility provide excellent customer service and answer all my questions. They keep you informed about your reservation and the process. The price is a flat rate but to me is reasonable/ affordable . They delivered the scooter at my resort on time and the whole process was smooth and easy.I read a lot of good reviews before making my decision and that is why I rented from them. I will also recommend this company because of the great experience I had with them. I will continue using this company for my future travels to Orlando.

Gold Mobility Scooters delivered a scooter, right on time, to our resort! It was all charged and ready to roll! It had great power, had a cup holder and basket on the front, we got a basket on the back to carry all our treasures - it was perfect! Received a text message about returning and a Rep was right on time to pick up the scooter! Could not have had a better experience!!! GMS carried our daughter all through the Disney parks and we could not have done that without their help! You will never know the fabulous impact you had on this family by providing such great service and a ride!! You see, our daughter has a brain tumor and can’t walk - your scooter fulfilled one of her greatest wishes…to see Disney one more time! Many blessings to you! Every single day is a gift! Thank you for making our last three days magical!!!

Gold Mobility – Pride VICTORY 10 3-Wheel Mobility Scooter This was my first time ever using an ECV, and I honestly don’t know how I would have managed my Disney World vacation without it. After some unexpected health challenges that would have made walking the parks very difficult, renting this scooter truly saved my vacation. Gold Mobility delivered and picked up the scooter right at the entrance of my Disney Coronado Springs Resort, which was extremely convenient. For delivery, the driver reached out within the scheduled time window, but I was delayed at the airport. I called him back, and he was very accommodating and able to reschedule for a little later without any issue. On pickup day, my scheduled time was 9:00 AM, and they called asking if I could meet at 8:15 AM instead. Just be aware that there may be some flexibility in appointment times, but communication was clear and professional. The controls are very simple and easy to learn, even for a first-time user. The 3-wheel design is incredibly maneuverable, especially in tight spaces like ride queues and shops. I also appreciated that it does not have the loud backup beeping that many other scooters have. The front basket is a great size for park essentials, and the battery life is excellent. On my first park day I charged it during lunch just to be safe—but I didn’t actually need to charge it in the parks at all. The only time I did was the one night I forgot to double-check that it was actually charging in the room. (Tip: make sure both lights on the power box are on when charging overnight.) I also want to mention that almost every Disney bus driver I encountered was incredibly friendly and helpful when it came to transporting the ECV, which made getting around the resort and parks much easier and less stressful as a first-time user. As a fun bonus, since it was the holidays, my scooter arrived decorated with Christmas stickers and a Santa scarf, which absolutely made my day. I added a few more decorations so it was easy to spot when parked with other scooters. Overall, this scooter was comfortable, reliable, easy to use, and a total game-changer for my trip. I’m so grateful to Gold Mobility for making it possible for me to fully enjoy Disney despite health limitations. I would absolutely rent from them again and highly recommend this scooter—especially for first-time ECV users.

Update: My original two-star review was based on the delivery experience and customer service I received on the day of delivery—not the scooter itself, which worked fine. I changed it to a 3 stars since the scooter did work fine. I acknowledged in my initial review that I misunderstood the text message, assuming the delivery location was correct since I had just received an email two days prior confirming delivery to the Grand Floridian. There was no reason for me to expect a change. While the company stated the phone operator was apologetic, I did not feel that way during our interaction. As a customer, my experience did not reflect the level of service I expected. Pick up of scooter was fast and easy. The driver was within five minutes of scheduled pick up time. Ordering the scooter was easy, and even when I needed to call and change hotels, the process went smoothly. I had requested a specific color for the scooter, which I didn’t receive—but since it was just a request, I understand that. However, what completely soured the experience and made me decide not to use this company again was the delivery issue. On the scheduled drop-off day, the scooter was delivered to the wrong hotel—the Wyndham instead of the Grand Floridian, where I was actually staying. I only realized this after the scheduled 8:00 AM drop-off time, when I finally read the text message they had sent earlier. I hadn’t looked closely at it before, assuming everything was correct based on the confirmation email I received a few days prior. When I called to find out what had happened, I didn’t feel the operator was particularly apologetic or helpful. I was told there was someone with the same last name staying at the Wyndham and that the system had glitched. I’m skeptical of that explanation—my last name has a fairly unique spelling—so it seems more likely this was just a case of human error and lack of attention to detail. I was also told the driver would text me directly, but I never received any communication. The scooter ended up arriving about 35 minutes late with no real acknowledgment or apology. The scooter itself was fine. It looked pretty beat up, but it did what it had to do. While the delivery was eventually completed, the lack of accountability and customer care left a bad impression. I won’t be using this company again and will be trying a different provider in the future.

Consumer Experience – Important Information for Future Renters During my rental period, the scooter I was using went missing, and I was charged $1,500 for replacement. I was initially told the $1500 had to paid by 1PM the day I reported the incident which left me 4 hours to locate the scooter. At that time, it was not clear if I would be responsible for the full $2630 replacement fee. I had purchased the insurance but the insurance limitations where several paragraphs into the terms. This had a significant impact on my trip. Security I was not aware of how easily these scooters can be moved or taken: The keys operate more than one scooter model. When I reported the issue, the venue employee demonstrated that my key could start a different scooter. The scooter can be rolled away without a key by disengaging a brake lever. I believe understanding these points ahead of time would have helped me take additional precautions. Insurance Expectations The rental does not include theft coverage. This information appears deeper in the Terms of Service, and I did not notice it before renting. An older Facebook post from the company (visible as of 1/3/2026) suggests theft coverage was included. I now understand that this is not the case. Overall Impression The company does state that rentees are responsible for the equipment. I did not fully understand how easily the scooter could be taken, and I wish this had been emphasized more clearly at the time of rental.
