Throughly enjoyed working with this company! They were prompt clear and easy to deal with. Dave is friendly and personable and dropped our scooters off to us near our cruise ship. The return was as easy and prompt! The scooters were new and were perfect for our island jaunt. Highly recommend and will definitely be a go to when we return. Maholo!

David was extremely professional and easy to work with. When I couldn’t get the bike to restart, he met me at my location to troubleshoot in person. He was flexible with both pickup and drop-off. Communication was easy and straightforward. I very much appreciate his responsiveness and professionalism—highly recommend his company!

I want to start this review by saying that David is an absolutely incredible human being. Having no experience riding any kind of bike, he gave me time to practice and showed me the ropes. Then, when some pretty wild circumstances left us stranded on Maui's North Shore, he took the time to deliver new bikes to us. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for an adventure!

This was the highlight of our Hawaiian Cruise and visit to Maui! David was an excellent tour guide and host to us. His one-of-a-kind electric scooters are fabulous. You MUST try this. Don't just rent the scooters, sign up for a tour with David. He made sure we were all comfortable with driving the scooters before we got started. He took us to some hidden stops that only the locals know about. We took a brake from the scooters and hiked in the rainforest following the Makamakaole River. We stopped in at a beautiful art studio which showcased local artists creations. He was knowledgeable about history, folklore, safety, flora, fauna, everything! When you read the other reviews, keep in mind that as the customer, we have a responsibility to double check reservations/plans prior to arrival. I made reservations online, and spoke with David on the phone numerous times prior to our reservation. I called David the day before our arrival to confirm meeting time & place. He was very accommodating and made our day a lot of fun. We will definitely be doing this again should we ever make it back to Maui. David, thank you for an amazing day! Maybe get some Go-Pros for the scooters or helmets so we can record our adventures.

I had an incredible experience with Hawaiian Scooter Rentals, and it ended up being one of the highlights of my entire Maui trip. Their location in Kahului is extremely convenient — especially if you’ve just landed or are staying nearby — which made pickup and drop-off quick and stress-free. The electric mopeds were in excellent condition, easy to ride, and perfect for exploring the island without dealing with traffic or parking headaches. We joined one of their electric moped tours and it was an amazing way to see Maui from a completely different perspective — smooth, quiet, scenic, and relaxed, with plenty of opportunities to actually enjoy the views instead of rushing past them. Everything felt organized, professional, and safety-focused from start to finish. On top of that, the pricing is some of the best you’ll find on the island for the quality and experience you’re getting. If you’re looking for a fun, affordable, and memorable way to explore Maui, Hawaiian Scooter Rentals is absolutely the way to go.
