The gentleman that owns and runs his shop is a legitimate mechanic. You want your scooter to be fixed right and not given the runaround or cheated. This is the guy to go to. He's very organized professional and hand you well written itemized invoice when completed with work. I made the mistake prior with two separate mechanics try to work my bike and try if I was saving money with him. And it turns out in the long run when I end up spending more money by going to them instead I should just go to the legitimate scooter shop in the first place. You will not go wrong if you go with this guy. It's going to cost more than your backyard mechanic but it's well worth the money. Because nine times out of 10 you go through your backyard mechanic and you end up bringing it to his shop to undo what those backyard mechanics did screw up yours even worse. You're fool if you go anywhere else there's nowhere else in Myrtle Beach.

I go here and talk to Ray. He is the best. He let's me know what he will do and if there is a problem that he doesn't know. He tells me. He has 100 percent of my trust. I will always take my bikes to him. If he can work on them. Sometimes, it may be an easy fix, and he just needs a couple of hours or 1 day. Otherwise, if he has to order parts. It will be a little while, but he gets the job done. Keep in mind that he is human. He is not a robot, and he has a family, too. With things to do. But while he is on the clock. He got you. I have seen him come to work on days that he didn't have to.

Ray is extremely knowledgeable. He had my scooter fixed in two days. He installed a big bore kit on the scooter and tuned it in a short period of time. If you have a scooter or bike, take it to Blackbird Cycles and Scooter, and you won't be disappointed. He also is very fair in pricing for the job he does.

I took my 150cc motorcycle/scooter to Ray, for a valve adjustment. When taking my bike in, he told me that it was possibly not the valves, & he would trouble shoot the problem. Ray checked my initial concern, then was able to find what the real problem was ! He could've of EASILY fed me a lie, much like Redline Motorsport tried, but this man is SUPER HONEST, & AFFORDABLE !! Within 2hrs or so, my bike was back on the road, & purring like a kitten ! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this shop to anyone looking for an honest mechanic, that won't break the bank ! He'll have all my business moving forward ... THANK YOU RAY !!

Ray is the absolute best around! If you want honest quality work take your bike to Blackbird cycles and scooters. He works on all kinds of bikes Harley, jap and scooters and will do it right and at a very fair price! I've seen him build a custom motorcycle from the ground up and I've seen him work on all kinds of scooters and he always puts 110% into everything he does!
