Bike Rent NYC - Central Park West

Really great bike ride around the park. Nice bikes that were in good shape and well maintained. Staff was very friendly, but not able to help us apply a coupon code for our online rental and it cost us a couple of extra bucks, but the manager was able to rectify the problem when we turned in our bikes. Customer service like that bumped them up to five stars. Make sure you stop at Belvedere Castle, the view of the park and city is great.

This place is awesome, crystal is the best! The staff was so helpful & they helped us out so much. I'd definitely recommend paying all day if you're killing time. We used the bikes to go to museum of natural history, the met, balto statue, Hamilton, Duke Ellington, & so much more. No way we could've done a fraction of that without the bikes.

Arrived at Central Park on a sunny Monday morning, walked up to the bike stall located at the entrance on the corner of the park. No reservation required, prices were clear and rental required leaving your picture I.D. I left my UK drivers licence. Very straight forward and had the bikes in 5minutes. Came with a lovely green helmet as pictured and a bike bike lock. Can add extras like a basket for $1 if needed. 2 x Adults bikes for 3 hours $59 Great way to see the park as it is massive! I never realised just how big it was. I would recommend the company. Had a lovely time cycling round, there is a road way you can follow around the whole park. There are some hills involved. Very quick and efficient service. Lady was very friendly and offered good advice. I was after an electric scooter but they did have these at this location. Happy cycling!

Very bad experience. The bikes are in terrible condition — gears don’t work properly, the chain kept coming off (I had to stop and fix it with my hands 3–4 times), and the pedaling would suddenly slip, which is actually dangerous because you can hit the seat when it happens. On top of that, the staff was extremely rude. I greeted the person handing out the bikes multiple times and got no response at all. They give you a phone number in case of problems, but that’s useless when you’re on the other side of the park. And if you’re a foreign visitor, you often can’t even call a local number. These bikes are simply not in a condition to be rented. I definitely do not recommend this place.

Don’t rent a bike here. The back wheel popped off and they took 45 minutes to bring me a new bike and it was about a 5 minute walk away from the rental place. Would not give a refund and then the manger accused me of lying!!! They said they don’t give refunds no matter what! Lots of other options so don’t rent from these people.
