Cycle Central Park bike rentals & tours

Have to say this was one of the best experiences we had during our stay in New York. Our guide Dan was absolutely fantastic, not only did he get everyone involved across the multiple nationalities of our group, but he was also very funny, warm, approachable and professional. His knowledge about the park was brilliant. The tour was a nice pace and kept with the group. The bikes and equipment where all top notice as well. 5 🌟 review and very much deserved. It was a really great way to see Central Park, and for us the only practical way in half a day (the park is huge). We were part of small group bike tour run by this shop. One guide and about 10 people on the bikes. The guide was good, enthusiastic, full of info and kept the group together. The pace was good, took us over 2 hrs to circle most of the park with several stop places to take photos and get some information from the guide. It did not go without glitches, broken bike and a small accident at the end which was no fault of the company. The park is full of people and you need to be careful and make sure that you know where you are going. Overall, it was a great fun.

The non electric bikes have no mud guard on the back tire so unless you want to be covered in mud and horse poop do not rent from this place. Staff is unhelpful and there was no manager or person in charge on site to help us with our issues. The nice front desk worker said her bosses were not replying to texts.

We made a mistake with the reservation... (We ordered two more bikes on a group of 7 people) They did not refund us. Their politics are to give a credit -what we did not needed-. We don't like this customer politics. And also the guys outside, they check each bike as if you had stole something...

Well maintained bike, good service. We rented a tandem bike reserved on the same day and had nowhere to put the coupon code at checkout for 50% off, so I put it in the comments section. The 50% off is a SCAM. The owner says I had to reserve 24 hours in advance but there is nowhere on the website that says that. Anyway we had to pay the full $57 for three hours on a tandem and never got the refund.
