Found Wheeler Accessible Van Rentals, just searching on the internet. Gave them a call, talked to Ronda and she was very helpful and steered me in the right direction. They were almost $300 less than the vans I have rented before. Thought I would give them a try. Five Star for the customer service and Ronda.

Exceptional experience renting with Wheelers. The convenience and ease of keyless entry and check in made things much easier when I had so much going on. Would recommend Wheelers for all of your wheelchair travel needs. Heather is also phenomenal and very knowledgeable and efficient. Will be using again in the very near future and would implore that you do the same for your wheelchair rental needs.

This is my fourth time using Wheeler's. I have a handicapped child that requires an accessible vehicle for transportation. They always have top-of-the-line equipment and availability and the people that help you filling out the applications and retrieving/dropping off your car are so incredibly attentive and helpful. Highly recommended

1. The van was not particularly clean when I received it. Not filthy, but definitely in need of a vacuum and wash. I ran it through a car wash and vacuumed it out before I returned it. 2. The transmission was set excessively low. It shifted at 20/30/40 mph, then had to be excessively accelerated in order for it to go any faster. 3. The alignment pulls to the right. 4. The lights were awful. Not only were they dim at best, but they were aligned so high, they never hit the road. I seriously worried that the police would pull me over for lack of headlights. In order to see at night, or in rain, I had to use the fog lights. 5. The key fob did not lock or unlock the car. I had to leave it unlocked the entire time I rented it, no matter what I left inside. Fortunately, I did not lose anything to thieves. 6. When I first started it up, it reported both low tire pressures and the need for an oil change. I filled the tires, but it still needs an oil change. 7. On the other hand, the van ran well, and customer service was prompt and polite.

I went to go visit my brother who is a part of the Disney College Program and needed an accessible van as I am wheelchair bound. While looking around online we found this company. It seemed great as they were able to provide an accessible van for myself which would have made my visit to Orlando a lot easier. Renting the actual van was straight forward which was the easiest part of this entire process. Once we arrived to Orlando Airport (MCO) we were supposed to get in contact with Wheelers so they could let us know where the van was left at. It took us about 15min before they were able to let us know where the van was parked. Instead of sending us an address or a location pin with a picture they just told us the name of the parking lot where the van was. This made it very confusing to us as we are not familiar with Orlando or MCO airport. After googling the parking lot we found out it was at a parking lot about 5 miles out from our terminal. My mom had called wheelers to discuss this with them as we had paid extra for them to drop off the van at the parking lots in front of whatever terminal we were going to arrive to. While my mom was on the phone trying to get an answer from anyone at wheelers as to why it was parked so far away my dad went ahead and tried to find a way to get to the parking lot. Once there he tried to find the van with the license plate number he was given by text from wheelers. He wasn't able to find that license plate and ended up calling wheelers to see if they gave him the wrong location. Turns out he was sent the wrong license plate number. So he found the van with the correct license plate number and was told the keys were left in the glasses compartment (which is very unsafe). He asked the wheelers representative what to do since the van was inside a paid parking lot and he was told to just leave and not pay since it is an accessible vehicle. The employee working the lot stopped my dad and made him pay. Since my dad was still on the phone with the wheelers representative he put them on speaker to explain what he was told about not needing to pay. The parking lot employee told both my dad and the wheelers representative that they had never done that and he needed to pay. My dad frustrated with this entire situation was willing to pay thinking it would be for 1 day max at least a couple of hours but it turns out it was left at that lot for about 6 days which had totaled about $80 for my dad to pay. While my mom and I were waiting for my dad inside MCO she was on the phone trying to get an answer as to why it was parked so far away when we paid for them to park it close to the terminal. After about 1.5 hours of her getting transferred and put on hold they had told her they couldn't park it close since it was spring break and all lots were full. We understood at first but when we found out the van was left at that lot for 6 days we were furious the didn't let us know until we arrived. If they would have told us at least a day in advance we could have planned on a way to pick up the van. After finally having my dad pick us up we noticed in how bad of condition the van was in. It was scratched, dented, visibly dirty inside and out, the tank was a little more than halfway full, the automatic sliding doors were barely working, and all the sensors turned on while we driving. The only positive was that the van worked (barely) and survived our weekend trip. Overall this was a terrible experience and will never use Wheelers again. I would give 0 stars but the lowest google allows is 1 star. If you need an accessible van rental service DO NOT use Wheelers.
