ServiCar Rent A Car

We booked a car at ServiCar last minute. We were struggling to find one but ServiCar had one in our budget (economy car at a reasonable price) and were able to provide the necessary paperwork to cross the Chile border. Everything went very smoothly, from communicating with them to picking up the car, they even accommodate a later drop off without problem. Thanks Servicar, we had a great trip!

We had a really great experience with this car rental service. Huge thanks to the amazing team at ServiCar. We had an issue with our credit card, and the payment wouldn’t go through, but they were very understanding and flexible. They offered a compromise and allowed us to rent the car with a slightly lower deposit in cash, which really saved our trip. They were incredibly kind, responsive, and welcoming, and it made a very strong positive impression on us. The car itself was also excellent—clean, fairly new, and in great condition. We rented a Fiat Cronos, and it drove perfectly. Everything worked smoothly, no issues at all. We also loved their dog at the office—Drago—such a sweet addition that made the experience even more memorable. On top of that, before the rental, they kindly gave us advice on routes and places to visit. They recommended stopping in La Leona before heading to El Chaltén, and we followed their suggestion—it turned out to be a great decision and really improved our trip. Overall, everything was fantastic. This is a great local alternative to international rental companies, and we highly recommend them.

Great experience overall — everything was clear, honest, and flexible. No hidden charges, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The car (Fiat Cronos) was in excellent condition and perfect for the trip. It is quite expensive, but that seems to be the case everywhere in El Calafate, so no surprises there. You can also leave the deposit in cash, which was convenient. Still, a reliable and trustworthy rental — would recommend.

Straightforward and v easy to deal with. The staff were helpful and friendly. We hired a car for 24 hours to go to the Perito Moreno glacier; seemed cheaper/ similar price than the other rental places in the area so would recommend

Great service, nice cars, great prices.

Amazing service! First of all, this was the only car rental agency that was flexible enough to accept a cash deposit. Every other place strictly required a credit card, which was an issue for me since my cards from Russia don’t work abroad. Secondly, on the day of my arrival, my domestic flight to El Calafate was delayed, and I wasn't able to receive the car before closing time. However, the owners actually waited for me even though their workday was over. Thirdly, the car was excellent—brand new, in perfect condition, and with an automatic transmission. Driving it through Patagonia was a pure joy! All of this for a very fair price. To top it all off, the owner helped me arrange a taxi to the airport after I returned the car. I’m very grateful for such a great experience and look forward to visiting Patagonia again!

We rented a Toyota Hilux and had an excellent experience. The car was in great condition and performed flawlessly both on regular roads and off-road in the rocky areas around El Calafate and El Chalten. The staff was amazing - very friendly, super clear in their communication, and easy to work with. Overall, a perfect experience and highly recommended!

This rental car place saved us from the danger of driving a manual car that we didn’t know how to drive! Last minute had an automatic SUV available that was able to fit our group of 5 and the woman at check in gave us a lot of helpful information about making sure to fill up gas before we headed to El Chalten and to watch out for guanacos on the road. Highly recommend!
