Dorados Scooter Rental and Car - Bacocho

They offer scooters and bicycles to rent on a daily, weekly or monthly basis! The chicas at Dorados Scooter Rent were very helpful, accommodating and knowledgeable. They have the largest selection of scooters we’ve seen at rental shops, and the quality of the scooters were good. We rented one small scooter for my boyfriend and I, both about 5’11”, and had a fun and easy time both riding and driving it. For one week, the cost is $2000, which seems to be the average price in town. It was so worth it, we were able to explore so much of the city and go to Zicatela every day. Highly recommend!!

Owner of this place is awesome! Seems very trustworthy, I lost my keys and he lent me a new set for 300 pesos, and said I’d get the money back if I found the other keys. Speaks good English, which is great for tourists, and gave me a great deal on a motorcycle for three days. Highly recommend!

If you are debating where to rent your scooter, look no further. They showed me how to operate it, provided helmets, and clear instructions. Lastly, they answered any messages and questions super quick. I’ll definitely be coming back and only renting from Dorados.

We rented a car from them and it was 5 stars no doubt. Small, family owned business. All prices were transparent and up front. All workers were very friendly. Highly recommend. I gave my passport as deposit, and paid the car rental with credit card for a 5% fee.
