Had a great time with my bike rental! The bike was in good condition and was very easy to operate. The lady who helped me, sorry I forgot your name, was very helpful as well. The location is wonderful with being centrally located between the beach and the lagoon. The price I feel is also very affordable as it is a flat rate for the day. I only used the bike for about two and a half hours, my decision, and still feel I got my moneys worth! Do be aware that they only accept cash. However I was struggling to get out cash from the ATM due to my bank back home. The staff helped find an alternative way for me to pay through a money transfer. I really appreciate that. I would 100% recommend renting a bike from them and exploring Rio on bike!

The owner (Ricardo) is very kind and helpful. He gave me guidance on which routes to take and explained everything very clearly. Bike hire comes with a bike lock and the bike had a basket. The shop is in a little side road behind a kiosk - there is a gate which has a simple sliding lock that you open to go through. Highly recommend!

We rented 4 bikes, they were all really high quality (we paid for the slightly more expensive ones that were 70 reais each for 1 day, there are also cheaper older ones). The staff were super friendly and helpful, I'd go back here again very happily. Cycling west along the coast was one of my favourite experiences of Rio and felt safe the whole way (we cycled around 1.5h). Just watch out as it's cash only, but it's OK as they let you pay at the end of the day when you return the bikes so no rush.

Service is fantastic! I’ve rented from them once before. I’d only suggest getting there early in the morning to get the best selection of bikes. I arrived today at 11 o’clock and my first bike didn’t have a working back break. I chose a second bike and while a bit rusty, it did the job, but made a creaking sound all day long.

Owner did not speak English and didn’t seem to be very interested in our custom. Expensive hire, bikes in ok condition- noises when changed gear on our bikes made us feel the chain was going to fall off. A bell on the bike would be useful. The bike lanes are easy and safe to use and separated from the road. They extend from top to bottom of Copacabana, then a short part on the road beside the traffic before it separates from the road again along Ipanema beach. Family of 3 (with teenager) hired bikes for 1 hr. Payment was on return. I had to leave my ID (driving licence) with the owner as a deposit whilst we hired the bikes, which I wasn’t entirely comfortable with.
