I rented a car in December 2025. All the terms were exactly as we had agreed by email before my arrival in Chile. The car was delivered to the airport on time, and the company even tried to accommodate my earlier than planned arrival. The documents for crossing the border were very well prepared and I had no issues at all. The car was in good condition, clean, with new tires. There were no problems with it throughout the entire rental period. The return was also smooth and hassle free. The company’s staff were helpful and friendly.

Just back from a stay in Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego and am SO GLAD I found Dachelet and used them to rent my vehicle. From my first contact with Gerardo until my arrival in Punta Arenas and my interactions with Marina, I was well satisfied and could tell I was in the very best hands for my driving arrangements. I have seldom dealt with a company that is as responsive, communicative, and helpful as Dachelet. They took care of everything--vehicle, insurance, border-crossing permits--so that my travels were seamless. For anyone looking to rent a car at The End of the World, look no further than Dachelet. I would certainly use them again and again.

Dachelet was amazing. I found them on Google Maps when planning my trip to Patagonia. I wanted a 4x4 SUV to get into the national parks and access trail heads and points of interest, but needed unlimited kilometers for the trip. I contacted them via WhatsApp. Dachelet was able to reserve us a 4x4 Suzuki Jimny with unlimited kilometers and permission to go into Argentina. They also had a low total cost compared to other companies. When we arrived, Marina from Dachelet met us in the parking lot as promised. Everything was ready, she explained our paperwork, how to cross into Argentina, gave us some tips and we were on our way. We took the little Jimny all over Torres del Paine, Parque Nacional los Glaciares, and Tierra del Fuego. Having the 4x4 was nice and allowed us to travel on rough and muddy roads without worrying about getting stuck or damaging a regular car. When we returned the car, Marina again met us in the parking lot of the airport as planned. Returning the car was simple and she didn't try to charge us for anything or scrutinize the very dirty car we returned. Dachelet is a family business and they treated us like family. Highly recommended, message them first when look for a car. Thank you again Marina!

The car rental process is quite straightforward. You can first visit the company’s website to browse the available models. Once you decide on a car, simply fill in your dates, times, and basic personal information, and the company will send you a quote. You can also contact them directly through WhatsApp to explain your needs — their responses are very quick. This time, we rented a Nissan X-Trail, which was a brand-new model. We picked up and returned the car at Punta Arenas Airport. The company brings the car to the airport at your scheduled time, and all contract details and payments are completed right there. They also explain the local road conditions clearly. We paid by credit card; in addition to the rental cost, they also pre-authorize a security deposit (which they refund when you return the car). After completing the paperwork, the staff takes you to the parking lot to pick up the vehicle and sends photos of the car’s condition via WhatsApp for confirmation; you use the same process when returning the vehicle. The car we rented had a central screen with Apple CarPlay — just plug in your phone and you can use your navigation apps easily. Overall, we were very satisfied with the rental service.

Highly recommend. Cheapest price we could find and a brand new car. Marina sorted our documents to cross into Argentina within 1 day, and arranged delivery of them to Puerto Natales. We dropped the car back at the airport with no problems. Thank you Marina
