I had originally had a bus ticket to go to Calafate and realized I was not going to make it on time due to horrible planning made by the bus company. So since I was only visiting the Patagonia for a couple days my only choice was to rent a car last minute. I reached out to Yoer Rent a Car and my weight was lifted. They got me out and ready to go within 1 hour of me calling them. They set up all the paperwork to cross over into Argentina, gave me tips of roads to take vs what Google will tell me. Highly recommend this spot to rent cars while in Punta Arenas

Rented a car here for visiting Argentine Patagonia based on the review in Google. This car rental company is trust worthy and can be relied on. Communication can be improved, but overall it is fine. This is a good choice other than the big brands.

These guys are awesome! We rented a car to drive from Puenta Arenas, Chile to El Calafate, Argentina and the car was spotless, trouble free, and got us where we needed to go. The company is very responsive on their WhatsApp and was able to answer all our questions quickly and efficiently. An absolute pleasure to work with them and if we come down to Patagonia again, we will definitely use them again!

Not a great experience. When I rented the car I paid Yoer $200 USD (I'm pretty sure that is too high) for the paperwork to go into Argentina. When we got to the border we were told the form was filled out wrong and we were not allowed to enter until the mistake was corrected. To their credit, they communicated quickly, but it was highly-annoying and I was worried we weren't going to be able to cross the border. (it was fixed eventually). More importantly, the car was rented for two weeks and on the last day driving back towards Punta Arenas there was so much noise coming the outside I was honestly worried the car was going to break down in the middle of nowhere. It was very loud and unpleasant. I messaged them and said I was concerned the car was about to break down. They didn't offer any help other than the advice "drive as slow as possible" (which wasn't that slow because we had a ferry to catch). To their credit they allowed an airport drop-off and were mellow about everything (definitely a small business), but I don't plan on using them again if I'm in the area.

Update: it has been 38 days since the last response. No refund, no explanation, no documentation - official complain to SERNAC. My experience with Yoer Rent a Car in Patagonia was extremely disappointing and concerning. We rented a vehicle for three days, anticipating the rough terrain, and received a car with significant pre-existing surface damage (bumps and scratches on all sides), suggesting it had been used extensively on challenging trails. The rental process itself was straightforward; we signed a contract and received the keys. However, the documentation of the car's existing damage was severely lacking. The owner showed little interest in accurately recording the numerous imperfections, which immediately raised concerns. Returning the vehicle was initially uneventful. The owner inspected the car, and we departed. Two days later, we received a message rudely accusing us of damaging the front windshield. As we had not specifically filmed that part of a windshield prior to renting, we requested evidence to support the claim. No further communication or evidence was provided. Approximately four weeks later, Yoer Rent a Car charged my credit card without any prior notification, documentation, or justification. This unauthorized charge has forced me to file a chargeback complaint with my bank and consider legal action if the owner fails to provide verifiable evidence of the alleged damage. Pros: The owner was flexible regarding the return time, as previously arranged. Cons: Vehicle provided had extensive pre-existing damage, poorly documented by the owner. Lack of professionalism and attention to detail during the rental process. Unsubstantiated accusation of damage without providing evidence. Unauthorized charge to credit card without communication or justification. Rude and uncommunicative attitude after the accusation. Very bad documentation of the car condition before renting. Overall: I strongly advise against renting from Yoer Rent a Car. Their lack of professionalism, poor documentation practices, and questionable billing methods created a stressful and costly experience. The unauthorized charge and refusal to provide evidence suggest a serious lack of integrity. Proceed with extreme caution.
