SIXT Rent a Car - PUNTA ARENAS DOWNTOWN

Picked up our rental at the airport and returned in the city. Professional service.

We booked a rental car well in advance through a German agency. The local provider changed in the meantime (from Europcar to Sixt), which caused some confusion back in Germany. However, contacting Sixt Tattersall Chile was very pleasant and straightforward. Please remember that boarder crossings to Argentina should be booked/arranged one week in advance. This worked perfectly for us. We received a fantastic car on site, practically brand new. Even a chip in the windshield was easily resolved with the help of the local staff; our supplemental insurance in Germany reimbursed the costs without any problems, based on the receipts from Chile. So, many thanks to the entire team!

Our rental car got a flat on the rough roads in Torres Del Paine and there were no nearby tire services in the area. We reached out to the Punta Arenas Sixt team and they helped us come up with a game plan to deal with the flat in Puerto Natales and get our road trip back on track.
