We can highly recommend Southland Rent a Car. We found it because we were specifically looking for a rental company who offers pick-up in Chile (Punta Arenas) and drop-off in Argentina (Ushuaia). There is a fee, but it‘s worth if you want to discover Tierra del Fuego by car. You receive all necessary documents for crossing the border, it’s all taken care of. Reservation, pick-up and drop-off was very easy. Adolfo was super helpful in giving tips for the road and was available when needed.

We had a smooth experience. Nice new car (2024), competitive 4x4 prices and no issies whatsoever. All the papers required to cross the argentina border were ready upon pickup.
