Itinerary
Day 1: Thessaloniki - arrival
Arrival in Thessaloniki, the largest city in Northern Greece. Transfer from the airport to the hotel. Before dinner, there will be a briefing where you will get acquainted with the KHL Moto Travel team, fellow participants, tour rules and the upcoming route.
Day 2: Start of the journey – Thessaloniki - Albania (370 kilometers / 230 miles)
On the first day of the journey, you need to cover a distance of 370 kilometers on the highway as your route to Albania takes you through the northern part of Greece. You travel along scenic mountain asphalt road, cross the border with Albania and arrive at Shelegër Lake. There, you are welcomed by your hosts at a splendid villa and a fantastic dinner will greet you. From next morning, you start your 6 days offroad tour in Albania.
Day 3 to Day 8 - Real offroad adventure
On day 3 onwards, you start your 6 day offroad experience. The exact route for each of the days is designed based on the participant skills. If necessary, the group may split in two based on adventurer capabilities for offroad terrain. The daily tour is between 70 and 150 kilometers with different level of difficulty. Lunch is on the go - with you from the morning or you grab something fresh from local village markets on the way. Tracks lead you through mountains and could be on sand, gravel, mud or clay. In some cases, denivelation could be 800 meters for the day and roads climb to 2500 meter
Day 9: Travel to Thessaloniki (370 kilometers / 230 miles)
The tour finishes in Thessaloniki, where a farewell dinner awaits you. This will be an opportunity for you to share your impressions and photos from the journey with KHL Moto travel!
