After breakfast, our second day begins with a new and thrilling adventure as we leave the ancient city behind and dive straight into the mystical embrace of the Rhodope Mountains. After a hearty breakfast and a final glimpse of Kavala’s beautiful harbor, we rev up the engines and set off westward, riding along the glittering shoreline. The road hugs the sea, offering sweeping views of endless blue waters on one side and rolling green hills on the other. The ride feels almost effortless, a graceful dance between land and sea, as the salty breeze and the songs of cicadas accompany our journey. After a hearty breakfast, we set off once more, our engines humming as we ride southward. Today, we leave Kosovo behind and re-enter North Macedonia, drawn by the call of one of the most fascinating and curious cities in the Balkans—its capital, Skopje. The road takes us through rolling hills and open valleys, the scenery shifting from rugged peaks to wide, sunlit plains as we approach this unique and lively metropolis. The road eastward beckons, leading us back toward Bulgaria, but not before we make one more unforgettable stop.
