Itinerary
Day 1
You will be transferred from the airport to the hotel. There will be a welcoming session and briefing.
Day 2
You will venture through some of the most popular trails amongst local endurists on the southwest mountains surrounding San Jose to get familiar with the bikes and the terrain, at the end of the day, you will reach your destination where you will find accommodations on the rainforest with a magical view of the central valley. At the end of the day, because of the altitude (5,900 feet), you expect a cool weather (60 to 70 Fahrenheit).
Day 3
The Pacific Coast awaits, prepare for an unforgettable ride on the mountains until you reach the most popular beaches of the Central Pacific Coast of Costa Rica. You will drive across many small creeks, rivers, and technical trails that will enchant anybody that has the “endurist” passion. Around midday, you will do a pit stop at Santa Marta, Puriscal, where you will have a typical Costa Rica lunch full of carbs to refuel. Day 4
It’s me time! Besides the relaxing morning at the beach or the pool and the afternoon enduro at technical trails of the zone, Ultimate Rides has a few options for your selection depending on your definition of relaxation.
Day 5
Are you ready for some killer Enduro riding? You better be! It is your last day, so you will make the most out of it in your head back to San Jose. You will start going up the mountain to “El Diablo”. This trail has been used for the Costa Rica Enduro National Championship. After lunch, two technical enduro trails options are waiting for you, “Panzas” or “El Codo”, but none of those will be conquered without a fight.
Day 6
You will be transferred from the hotel to the airport.

Rider Reviews
We asked Heiner for a custom tour and that is exactly what we got. We did some really challenging trail most days but being old phartes, asked for a lot of scenic semi-enduro riding too. Heiner and Pablo took us on trails and routes that did exactly that. Highlights were seeing Irazu volcano, swimming in a mountain stream, a couple of really challenging rock climbs, and seeing a very poisonous fer-de-lance snake!
