Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Château-Chinon
Arrive at your hotel in Château-Chinon and get unpacked.
Day 2: Château-Chinon - Lac des Settons - Château-Chinon (179 kilometers / 112 miles)
Leaving your hotel in Château-Chinon, you will head north on one big circular loop up towards Montsauche-les-Settons. After stopping for lunch around Lac des Settons, you will continue north towards Dun-les-Places, here you'll turn and start to head south towards Ouroux-en-Morvan, and then back to the Hotel at Château-Chinon. The total distance is around 179 kilometers.
Day 3: Château-Chinon - Brassy - Château-Chinon (190 kilometers / 119 miles)
After leaving the hotel you will head north again, this time towards Ouroux-en-Morvan. You'll then head west towards Lac des Settons. Today you will be riding in the figure of "8" pattern, stopping for lunch around Brassy in the north. After lunch, you'll head back south to the hotel continuing the figure of "8" pattern. The total distance is around 190 kilometers.
Day 4: Château-Chinon - Chalaux - Lac des Settons - Château-Chinon (240 kilometers / 150 miles)
This is it! Make sure you have a good breakfast since you're in for a long day today. This time you'll head north again right to the very top of the park towards Chalaux, stopping only for a very quick lunch around Brassy. After Chalaux, you'll start to head south where kilometer after kilometer of single track will await you! It's then a fast run towards Lac des Settons then back to the hotel for a well-earned beer and your departure. The total distance is around 240 kilometers where 99% of it is off-road.
