Itinerary
Day 1: Telavi - Abano Pass - Omalo (Tusheti National Park)
The route takes you into the heart of Tusheti National Park, one of Georgia’s most remote and untouched regions. This ride features challenging mountain terrain, scenic views of the Caucasus, and the high-altitude Abano Pass, one of the highest motorable passes in Georgia. The journey offers a mix of steep climbs, rocky paths, and high-altitude riding leading to the ancient village of Omalo, which serves as a gateway to the Tusheti region.
Day 2: Omalo - Gometsari Valley - Omalo (Tusheti National Park)
The route is a circular loop within Tusheti National Park, taking you through some of the most remote and untouched landscapes in Georgia. The ride will guide you through the beautiful Gometsari Valley, with its lush meadows, rocky trails, and rugged mountain paths. Expect to encounter challenging technical sections, with steep climbs and descents, but also enjoy the stunning natural beauty and the serene atmosphere of one of Georgia’s most pristine regions.
Day 3: Omalo - Pirikita Valley - Omalo (Tusheti National Park)
The route takes you deeper into the wilderness of Tusheti National Park, exploring the stunning Pirikiti Valley, known for its breathtaking views, lush landscapes, and rugged trails. This ride offers a challenging loop with a variety of technical terrain, including steep climbs, rocky paths, and river crossings. Day 4: Omalo - Pshaveli - Telavi
The route takes you from the rugged landscapes of Tusheti National Park to the Kakheti region, passing through picturesque mountain villages and untouched nature. This ride offers a mix of high-altitude terrain, river crossings, and scenic valleys with a descent from the wild Tusheti mountains into the more gentle countryside of Kakheti. Expect a mix of technical climbs and descents, as well as beautiful winding dirt roads perfect for enduro enthusiasts.
Day 5: Telavi - Mt. Tsivi - Telavi
The route is an exciting circular loop that offers a mix of technical climbs, rocky paths, and scenic landscapes. The ride takes you from Telavi through vineyard-covered hills, followed by a challenging ascent to the summit of Mt. Tsivi, and then back to Telavi. This day will push your riding skills with its combination of steep terrain and high-speed dirt tracks, all while rewarding you with fantastic views.
Day 6: Upper Mountain areas around Telavi
The route takes you on an exciting journey through the Gombori mountain range, leading to the summit of Mount Tsivi and back. This ride is a thrilling mix of technical climbs, high-speed dirt tracks, and rocky ridgelines, offering incredible views of the Kakheti region. The trail will take you through dense forests, alongside rugged cliffs, and offer spectacular vistas of the Alazani River valley below.
