Panoramic route to reach the Vosges Ballon and the Markstein. Discovery of the listed village of Eguisheim, jewel of the Alsace Wine Route, before crossing the German border. Crossing of the Black Forest massif to Saint-Blasien, renowned for its majestic cathedral with an impressive dome.
Discovery of the great mountain lakes of the Black Forest, Schluchsee, and Titisee, true natural jewels. Visit the village and waterfall of Triberg, then Hornberg Castle. Ridge road of the Black Forest to the spa town of Baden-Baden, before reaching the wine-growing village of Sankt Martin, in the heart of the German Wine Route.
Departure toward the Romantic Rhine Valley, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Stops at the legendary Lorelei Rock overlooking the river, then in Koblenz, where the Moselle and the Rhine meet at the Deutsches Eck. The route then follows the Moselle Valley to Cochem, a picturesque village dominated by its medieval castle.
Final panoramas of the Moselle before reaching the Saar meander at Orscholz, a spectacular natural site. Discovery of the Völklingen ironworks site, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, a testament to the region’s industrial past. Arrival in the listed village of La Petite-Pierre, in the heart of the Northern Vosges Regional Natural Park.
Varied stage between nature, culture, and heritage. Visit of Haut-Barr Castle, passing through the Donon Pass, the Dabo Rock, and the Lehrer crystal works. Stop at the Struthof camp in Natzwiller, a powerful memorial site, before reaching Obernai via Le Hohwald, a charming mountain village.
Final stage through the most beautiful landscapes of Alsace. Passing by Mont Sainte-Odile, then the Castle Route and the famous Haut-Koenigsbourg. Descent via the Alsace Wine Route and the listed village of Riquewihr, before joining the Route des Crêtes for the return to Val d’Ajol. Closing dinner.
