Getting There
This tour will take you from Athens, through Drama, Adriani, Stavroupoli, and Xanthi; then on to Toxotes and Kavala, from Kavala, you ride to Thessaloniki; and then you go back to Athens. Stavros and Evan were amazing in arranging the bikes and hotels for each night’s stayover. The guys were very flexible and even opened up for us on a Sunday to collect and drop off the bikes. My GS1250 only had 1500km on the clock so had no issues with the bike at all on our 1750km trip. The lads booked the accommodation for end points for us to head out on and suggested routes, but we planned our own routes to said places. With the first and last days spent on toll roads as they were the longest days. The first night in Panteleimon at Feggaropetra Inn Magic Mountain House was an especially awesome way to start. Xanthi was another highlight with Old town being very special. Kavala and Thessaloniki were also good with nice hotels. Last night in Meteora was the perfect way to spend our last day and is recommended for everyone. Overall a very good experience and would highly recommend using GS Traveler for your bike rental
We spent eight days, seven nights on a self guided motorbike tour of eastern, northeastern and central Greece 🇬🇷🏍️ The region is exceptional on the eye, picturesque views everywhere you look. We popped into Volos on our way to the first nights accommodation, Feggaropetra Inn, situated in the hillside village of Palaios Panteleimon. This was the highlight of all our hotels that were booked by the company. Xanthi and Meteora were the other highlights.
