Itinerary

  1. Day 1 – Arrival in Guatemala City & Transfer to Antigua

Your adventure begins the moment you land. Our team will meet you at the airport and transfer you to Antigua Guatemala, a UNESCO World Heritage town surrounded by volcanoes and cobblestone charm. Settle into your boutique hotel, enjoy a welcome dinner, and meet your fellow riders.

  2. Day 2: Exploring Antigua & Motorcycle Briefing

Morning walking tour of Antigua’s cobblestone streets, churches, and markets. Afternoon motorcycle introduction and safety briefing to prepare for the journey ahead.

  3. Day 3: Antigua to Lake Atitlán (Panajachel)

The first ride sets the tone. After an early briefing in Antigua, we carve our way around Volcán de Fuego, crossing more than 10 wild rivers and winding through lush valleys and volcanic trails. By afternoon, you descend to the sparkling banks of Lake Atitlán, one of the most beautiful lakes in the world, where volcanoes mirror in the water.

  4. Day 4: Panajachel to Unicornio Azul, Huehuetenango Province

You head west into the highlands, where the terrain grows more rugged and remote. Your destination is Unicornio Azul, an eco-ranch tucked into the mountains of Huehuetenango. The day ends with quiet skies, crisp mountain air, and a night under the stars.

  5. Day 5: Unicornio Azul to Hacienda Nueva Escocia

The adventure deepens as you ride into one of Guatemala’s hidden gems—Cenote Candelaria, a crystalline sinkhole surrounded by limestone cliffs and jungle. After a refreshing swim, rewarding the day’s off-road challenges, the group will head to Hacienda Nueva Escocia, an elegant colonial estate nestled among rolling green hills a few kilometers away from Laguna Brava. This historic hacienda, with its cobblestone courtyards, sweeping verandas, and timeless charm, sets the perfect tone for the days ahead.

  6. Day 6:Hacienda Nueva Escocia to Laguna Brava

Your fifth day will be dedicated to exploring the mystical Laguna Brava, a turquoise mountain lake near the borderlands. Remote, pristine, and sacred to the local communities, this stop is one of the most untouched destinations in the country. In the afternoon we will ride back to Hacienda Nueva Escocia to spend the night.

  7. Day 7: Laguna Brava to Laguna Lachúa

The trail eases into lush jungle terrain, bringing you to Laguna Lachúa, a near-perfect circular lagoon hidden in a national park. Known as the “mirror of heaven,” its waters shimmer in every shade of blue and green.

  8. Day 8: Laguna Lachúa to Semuc Champey

A legendary ride awaits. You snake through jungle valleys to reach Semuc Champey, Guatemala’s most famous natural wonder—a stepped series of emerald pools formed over a limestone bridge. A well-earned swim and evening rest mark the highlight of the tour.

  9. Day 9: Semuc Champey to Antigua

The final stretch takes us back toward Antigua, winding through mountain passes and forest trails. The ride is long but rewarding, bringing you full circle to the colonial heart of Guatemala, where a farewell dinner awaits.

  10. Day 10: Departure

After breakfast, the Whispering Trails team will provide a private transfer back to the Guatemala City airport. You leave with new friendships, unforgettable memories, and a piece of Guatemala’s whispering trails etched into your soul. Spaces are limited, and each expedition is designed for small groups. Secure your place today and start your story on Guatemala’s Whispering Trails.
