Once you reach Srinagar, relax and stay comfortably at your lodging. Your rooms will be assigned based on the inclusions in your package. You are free to explore the neighborhood and go about on your own today. Join a short meeting with them later in the evening to talk about the tour schedule and safety instructions. Additionally, your tour guide will provide a brief overview of what to expect on the journey.
After breakfast, start your journey from Srinagar to Kargil. As you travel, you'll cross the rugged Zoji La Pass (3528 meters), which separates Ladakh from Kashmir. On the way, you'll see historic Kargil war sites, including well-known peaks like Tiger Hill and Tololing. You'll reach Kargil by evening, where you'll stay overnight. Your bike, breakfast, dinner, and accommodation in Kargil are all taken care of.
Start your day with breakfast as the morning sun brightens the sky, then begin your journey from Kargil to Leh. Along the route, you will witness the stunning meeting point of the Zanskar and Indus Rivers, experience the intriguing Magnetic Hills, and stop by the sacred Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Lamayuru Monastery, Nakee-La, and Fotu-La pass. Arrive in Leh by evening and check into your hotel.
Begin your journey from Leh to Nubra by crossing two significant mountain passes, Nakee La at 4,740 meters and Lachulung La at 5,079 meters. Feel the excitement as you navigate the 21 sharp twists of the Gata Loops. Travel across the stunning More Plains, a 40-kilometer stretch of flat land surrounded by mountains. By evening, arrive in Nubra and check into your hotel. Stay in Nubra for the night.
Start your day early, riding along the beautiful and remote Shyok River route. Arrive at Pangong Tso, the famous high-altitude lake known for its ever-changing hues. Spend the evening admiring the stunning lake views and unwind at your lakeside camp. Stay in camps near Pangong Lake.
Ride through the Changthang region, a high-altitude plateau known for its vast landscapes and Tibetan nomads. Reach Hanle, a quiet village home to one of the world’s highest observatories. Visit the Hanle Observatory and the local monastery, enjoying the serenity and remote beauty. Stay in guesthouses or homestays in Hanle.
Embark on an adventure to Umling La, the highest motorable pass in the world at 5883 meters. This challenging ride is filled with unmatched panoramic views. After the Umling La experience, return to Hanle for a relaxed evening. Stay in Hanle.
Leave Hanle early and enjoy the long ride back to Leh, retracing some of your previous routes but experiencing them from a different perspective. Spend the evening exploring Leh’s markets or resting at your hotel. Stay in Leh.
