Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrive in Delhi International airport

   Upon arrival at the airport, a Brahmand Tour representative will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. Relax and settle down. Try some good food at famous restaurants and begin your adventure for rest of the evening. - Overnight: Hotel in Delhi - Meals: Breakfast

2. Day 2: Delhi – Dharamshala (By Flight) – Palampur (40 km / 1.5 hours drive)

   Fly from Delhi to Dharamshala (Gaggal Airport) and then head towards the hill town of Palampur. Surrounded by tea gardens and mountains we will introduce you to your motorcycle and do a safety briefing to get you ready for the amazing days ahead. After that do a short test ride to get familiar with the terrain and your bike. The evening is free to explore Palampur’s landscapes or relax and recharge for the next day. - Overnight in Palampur. - Meals: Breakfast and dinner.

3. Day 3: Palampur – Jibhi (200 km / 7-8 hours)

   The amazing Trans Himalayan Expedition with Zanskar will begin from Palampur and ride will pass across Baijnath and Mandi before climbing towards the Banjar Valley. The narrow winding roads, thick forests, and gushing rivers make this stretch thrilling for bikers. Arrive in the quaint hamlet of Jibhi, surrounded by cedar and pine. - Overnight in Jibhi. - Meals: Breakfast and Dinner.

4. Day 4: Jibhi – Sarahan (160 km / 6-7 hours)

   A ride to Sarahan is more interesting, crossing the scenic Jalori Pass (3,120 m) with panoramic Himalayan views before descending towards Rampur. This place is known for famous Bhimakali Temple and apple orchards and give a mix of adventure and culture. - Overnight in Sarahan. - Meals: Breakfast and dinner

5. Day 5: Sarahan – Kalpa (100 km / 5-6 hours)

   This journey is epic with riding across pristine blue water of Sutlej River and passing across thrilling cliffhanger routes and mountain roads surrounded by stunning backdrops. The journey offers views of deep gorges and snow-covered peaks. Finally, you will reach Kalpa- famous for Kinner kailash and surrounding views. Do not miss to reach the last inhabited village- Chitkul and soak in charm of village. - Overnight in Kalpa. - Meals: Breakfast and dinner

6. Day 6: Kalpa – Nako – Tabo (200 km / 8-9 hours)

   Wake up in the breathtaking sight of Kinner Kailash that glows like a golden belt in the soft morning light—a view that stops you in your tracks and stays with you forever. After breakfast, ready for the next stretch toward Spiti Valley’s rugged heart. The road to Pooh will be a dream- smooth, fast, and tempting. Every turn come with its own surprise: tight hairpins, blind bends, and the occasional rockslide tumbling down the cliffs. 7. Day 7: Tabo – Hikkim – Komic – Kaza (100 km / 6-7 hours)

   Wake up before sunrise and chill in the Spiti air that will wake up every sense and it will be an epic ride for sure. Your first stop will be at Hikkim, home to the world’s highest post office at 14,400 feet. The climb will be short but intense, winding higher throughthin air and wide horizons. From Hikkim, continue your ride to Komic, the highest motorable village on the planet. At 15,027 feet, the world will feel completely different with sharp sky where silence speaks louder. 8. Day 8: Kaza – Jispa (230 km / 9–10 hours)

   Cross the mighty Kunzum Pass (4,551 m) before descending into Lahaul Valley. Riding across Kunzum will give a contrast feel of climbing in slow, steady, and breathtaking pass. The day will be long but rewarding, with landscapes that shift dramatically from barren desert to green valleys. Reach Jispa by evening. - Overnight in Jispa. - Meals: Breakfast and dinner

9. Day 9: Jispa – Padum (260 km / 9–10 hours)

   This is one of the days that will test your machine and spirit. The road to Padum wound through Shingo La Pass (5,091 m)- a wild, unpaved trail of loose gravel, icy crossings, and heart-racing switchbacks. Each kilometer will feel raw and untamed where water streams cut across the path, cliffs dropping beside the trail. Finally drive down towards Padum, the gateway to Zanskar Valley, a sense of triumph settled in. - Overnight in Padum - Meals: Breakfast and dinner

10. Day 10: Padum – Lamayuru (270 km / 9–10 hours)

    The ride from Padum to Lamayuru will feel riding through another world. Zanskar revealed its wild, untouched beauty with high cliffs sculpted by wind, deep gorges, and silence that spoke louder than words. After hours of winding through these dramatic landscapes, Lamayuru will appear like an ancient secret, its “moonland” terrain glowing silver in the afternoon light. The Lamayuru Monastery, perched above the valley, add a spiritual calm to an otherwise intense day of riding. 11. Day 11: Lamayuru – Leh (120 km / 5–6 hours)

    After days of rugged trails, this stretch will feel almost luxurious with a smooth and wide road, tracing the curves of the mountains toward Leh. Along the way, you will cross Fotu La, one of the highest passes on the Srinagar-Leh route, and stop at the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers at Nimmoo. 12. Day 12: Leh (rest day)

    A day to rest, acclimatize, and explore Leh town. Visit Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa, or local markets. Riders can also use the day to service their bikes for the upcoming high-altitude routes if planned further. - Overnight in Leh - Meals: Breakfast and dinner

13. Day 13: Leh – Nubra Valley (160 km / 6–7 hours)

    Start ride from Leh to the beautiful Nubra Valley crossing the world’s highest motorable pass Khardung La at 18,380 feet (5,359 meters). The road conditions here can be rough with steep climbs and descents but the views are worth every turn. In Nubra, head to the cold desert and take a double hump camel ride, a unique experience of this region. - Overnight in Nubra Valley. - Meals: Breakfast and Dinner.

14. Day 14: Nubra – Pangong (200 km / 7–8 hours)

    Take the scenic and adventurous Shyok route to Pangong Lake. The road runs through remote valleys and riverbeds before reaching the sparkling blue waters of the lake. Its turquoise expanse stretches endlessly, glowing under the afternoon sun. Standing there, helmet in hand, you cannot help but feel a wave of awe as this is what every biker dreams of: a raw, unfiltered connection with the Himalayas. 15. Day 15: Pangong – Hanle (200 km / 7-8 hours)

    Hanle is a hidden gem in Himalayas and famous for breathtaking vistas, world-class observatory, and Changthang Plateau. It is a remote village near the Indo-Tibet border. 16. Day 16: Hanle (Excursion to Umling La – 150 km round trip / 6–7 hours)

    A big highlight of the expedition: Umling La (5,883 m), the highest motorable pass in the world. The ride is challenging due to extreme altitude and rough terrain but incredibly rewarding. Return to Hanle for the night. - Overnight in Hanle - Meals: Breakfast and dinner

17. Day 17: Hanle – Tsokar (160 km / 6–7 hours)

    Today’s ride leads across vast plateaus and wildlife zones, with chances to spot kiangs (wild asses). Arrive at Tsokar Lake, a high-altitude saltwater lake surrounded by stark Himalayan beauty. - Overnight near Tsokar Lake - Meals: Breakfast and dinner

18. Day 18: Tsokar – Leh (220 km / 8–9 hours)

    On this day, you will drive back from Tsokar to Leh, where you will enjoy the stunning landscapes of the high-altitude plateau, with views of snow-capped mountains, pristine lakes, and wide-open valleys. Upon arrival in Leh, you can relax and enjoy the comfort of your accommodation after the scenic drive. - Overnight in Leh. - Meals: Breakfast and dinner

19. Day 19: Leh– Departure
