Itinerary

  1. Day 1: Arrive Delhi International Airport

    Upon arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi, our team will meet you and assist with your transfer to the hotel for your overnight stay. - Overnight: Hotel in Delhi - Meals: Breakfast

  2. Day 2: Delhi - Dharamshala (By Flight) - Palampur (40 kilometers / 25 miles / 1.5 hours drive)

    Fly from Delhi to Dharamshala (Gaggal Airport) and then head towards the hill town of Palampur. Surrounded by tea gardens and mountains, you will be introduced to your motorcycle and attend a safety briefing to prepare for the adventure ahead. Afterward, enjoy a short test ride to get familiar with the terrain and your bike.   3. Day 3: Palampur - Jibhi (200 kilometers / 124 miles / 7 - 8 hours)

    The amazing Trans Himalayan Expedition with Zanskar begins from Palampur and passes through Baijnath and Mandi before climbing towards the Banjar Valley. Narrow winding roads, thick forests, and gushing rivers make this stretch thrilling for bikers.   4. Day 4: Jibhi - Sarahan (160 kilometers / 99 miles / 6 - 7 hours)

    Ride towards Sarahan, crossing the scenic Jalori Pass (3,120 meters) with panoramic Himalayan views before descending towards Rampur.   5. Day 5: Sarahan - Kalpa (100 kilometers / 62 miles / 5 - 6 hours)

The journey offers views of deep gorges and snow-covered peaks before arriving in Kalpa, famous for the Kinner Kailash range and spectacular mountain scenery.   6. Day 6: Kalpa - Nako - Tabo (200 kilometers / 124 miles / 8 - 9 hours)

The road to Pooh offers smooth riding conditions with exciting twists, blind bends, and occasional rocky stretches. Soon, the green landscapes of Kinnaur fade into Spiti’s dramatic lunar terrain. Stop at Khab, where the Sutlej and Spiti Rivers meet, before climbing steep switchbacks toward Nako.   7. Day 7: Tabo - Hikkim - Komic - Kaza (100 kilometers / 62 miles / 6 - 7 hours)

    Wake up early and enjoy the fresh Spiti air before beginning today’s exciting ride. Visit Hikkim, home to the world’s highest post office at 14,400 feet, before continuing toward Komic, the world’s highest motorable village at 15,027 feet. Continue to Langza village, famous for its giant Buddha statue overlooking the valley and ancient marine fossils found in the area. Enjoy local hospitality with tea and snacks before heading to the iconic Key Monastery, perched dramatically on a cliffside with stunning valley views.   8. Day 8: Kaza - Tandi (190 kilometers / 118 miles / 7 - 8 hours)
