Itinerary

  1. Day 01: Arrive in Manali

    Arrive at Kullu airport, meet on arrival and transfer to your hotel in Manali. Morning free. Afternoon you assemble at the hotel for a small briefing about the tour and then you meet your Royal friend - The Himalayan. Later, you will be taken on a test ride to Naggar Castle and Roerich Art Gallery. Ride back to your hotel for a relaxed evening. Overnight at hotel.

  2. Day 02: Manali - Tirthan (110 kilometers / 68 miles, 3 - 4 hours)

    Morning after breakfast, you start the motorbike adventure on your Royal Enfield bikes from Manali to Tirthan Valley. Ride from Manali on NH 21 crossing Kullu town and after crossing the tunnel at Aut, you turn to enter Tirthan valley. You ride along the Tirthan river entering the valley to your abode by the river bank. Enjoy the gurgling river or ride further deeper into Tirthan valley to explore its scenic views and villages. Overnight at guest house.

  3. Day 03: Tirthan - Kalpa (220 kilometers / 137 miles, 8 hours)

    You start your ride in the morning, climbing up and crossing over Jalori Pass from where on a clear day a long necklace of the Himalayan Range can be viewed including peaks of the Kullu region like Deo Tibba, Hanuman Tibba, etc. You now descend down towards Satluj valley. You ride crossing Rampur and continue riding Satluj valley, entering Kinnaur and head to Recong Peo the main town of Kinnaur region, and climb up to Kalpa village. Kalpa village is located in the backdrop of the Kinner Kailash mountain range. On arrival, check in and overnight at the hotel.

  4. Day 04: Kalpa - Nako -Tabo (190 kilometers / 118 miles, 8 hours)

    Another day of an interesting ride. It's exciting riding the narrow Satluj valley till Khab where the Satluj river meets the Spiti river and this point is also the reference where you enter the Spiti valley. You ascend up to Nako village, the last among Kinnauri villages located on the banks of a small lake. You walk around the village and later continue further towards Tabo.   5. Day 05: Tabo - Dhankar - Pin Valley - Kaza (105 kilometers / 65 miles, 6 - 7 hours)

    Today you ride around the Spiti valley, exploring the mesmerizing landscape, varied colors of mountains and remote villages and gompas. You start your ride in the morning towards Dhankar village and monastery. This monastery at Dhankar rests high over the valley and is a stupendous example of local architecture. It is regarded to have once been a fort and was also the residence of the ruler of Spiti – the Nano. You ride further towards Pin Valley, the land of Ibex and Snow Leopards.   6. Day 06: Kaza - Chandertal (117 kilometers / 73 miles, 4 - 5 hours)

    In the morning, you ride to visit Comic, which is among the world’s highest permanently inhabited villages, and then later visit Hikim boasting of the world’s highest post office and Langza village located in the backdrop of Chao Chao Kang Nilda Peak. Later, you head for Chandertal crossing Chichim Bridge which is the highest Bridge in Asia. What a ride is going to be from here onwards, hold your breaths to ride into the Himalayas.   7. Day 07: Chandertal - Chatru - Jispa (116 kilometers / 72 miles, 6 hours)

    In the morning, you start the ride from Chandertal lake for yet another breathtaking day of charming scenic views and exciting rides. You ride through the trans-Himalayan region crossing Batal, Chatru entering Lahaul valley. From Gramphoo, you continue through Lahaul valley crossing several villages like Sissu, Gondla, Tandi, Keylong, and Gemur to Jispa. We check in at the camp for an overnight stay.

  8. Day 08: Jispa - Shinku La - Padum (190 kilometers / 118 miles, 8 - 9 hours)

    Today you start the ride to enter Zanskar valley. You ride to cross Shinku La (5091 meters) and descend down to the valley floor surrounded by towering mountains. You ride along the Zanskar river crossing several tiny villages to reach Purne and from there, further to reach Padum by evening. The ride today involves riding in a narrow valley with towering mountains on both sides with enchanting views. On arrival and check in at hotel.

  9. Day 09: In Padum

    Today you spend the time exploring and riding around Zanskar valley visiting a few villages and old monasteries like Karsha and Zangla Fort.

  10. Day 10: Padum - Kargil (220 kilometers / 137 miles, 8 hours)

    Today, you ride across Zanskar valley to enter the Suru valley crossing Pensi La Pass (4800 meters), which is beautifully located, and Drang Drung Glaciers. You ride along the Suru river down to Rangdum where you visit the monastery. You continue onwards to Kargil enjoying lovely views of 7100 meters high Nun Kun peaks during the ride, the best views being from Parkachik village. Reach Kargil and retire overnight in your hotel.

  11. Day 11: Kargil - Leh (220 kilometers / 137 miles, 6 hours)

    In the morning after breakfast, leave for Leh, en route crossing Giant Buddha at Mulbek, visit Lamayuru, the oldest Monastery of Ladakh and watch the spectacular Moon like landscape unfold around you as you depart from Lamayuru monastery. Continue to Leh en route viewing the confluence of Indus and Zanskar rivers, Magnetic Hill, and Pathar Sahib Gurudwara. Arrive in Leh and check in the hotel. Overnight at hotel.

  12. Day 12: Leh - Nubra via Khardungla (130 kilometers / 81 miles, 6 hours)

    Today after breakfast at your hotel, you ride to Nubra valley via the famed Khardungla pass (5600 meters), which was once the highest motorable pass in the world. Later ride to Nubra valley and take photoshoots enroute. The natural home of double hump bacterial camel and famous old silk route, enjoy a small camel ride at the sand dunes. On arrival check in at camp. In the evening, explore Hunder village. Overnight stay at a camp at Hunder.

  13. Day 13: Nubra - Shyok - Pangong Lake (140 kilometers / 87 miles, 5 hours)

    Today after breakfast, you leave for yet another mesmerizing ride to follow the Shyok river to reach Pangong Lake (4250 meters). Arrive at Pangong, which is the highest salt water Lake in the World, shared by two countries India and China. Enjoy the beauty of the lake. Overnight in camp.

  14. Day 14: Pangong - Thiksey Monastery - Shey Palace - Leh (160 kilometers / 99 miles, 7 hours)

    After breakfast, you leave Pangong and start the ride towards Leh town crossing over Chang La (5160 meters). En route, you also visit Thiksey Monastery and Shey Palace to reach Leh. On arrival check-in at hotel. The rest of the day is free and overnight at hotel.

  15. Day 15: Leh - Tanglang La - Sarchu (253 kilometers / 157 miles, 8 hours)

    You bid adieu to Ladakh and ride till Upshi where you leave Indus valley and start your ride up to Tanglang La Pass (5328 meters). From there, you ride to Moore plains which is a vast expense of 50 kilometers of flat land, and crossing it start a roller coaster ride crossing Lachung La (5065 meters) and Nakila La (4800 meters) to reach the plains of Sarchu, where you spend the night in tents under starry sky.

  16. Day 16: Sarchu - Baralacha La Pass - Keylong (107 kilometers / 66 miles, 4 hours)

    After breakfast, you start the climb up to Baralacha La Pass (4800 meters), located on the main Great Himalayan Mountain range and a trek following the CB range leads one to Chandertal Lake from here. You ride down to Lahaul valley touching the first village Darcha and crossing Jispa to end the day's ride at Keylong. The rest of the day is free to explore the small town at your own pace.   17. Day 17: Keylong - Udaipur - Killar (135 kilometers / 84 miles, 6 hours)

    Post breakfast, you start your ride into Pattan valley and crossing villages to reach Trilokinath Temple which is revered alike by Hindus and Buddhists of the region. You ride to Udaipur to visit the beautiful wooden Pagoda temple of Mrikula Devi temple. From Udaipur, you start your exciting ride to Pangi valley. The road is along the Chandra Bhaga river and is perched and cut across high on a cliff. This road is also famously known as The Death Road among travelers.   18. Day 18: Killar - Sach Pass - Chamba (160 kilometers / 99 miles, 7 hours)

    Early in the morning, you start your ride to Chamba town from Pangi. From Killar, you ride down to the valley floor from where you start ascending through thick woods up towards Sach Pass, a steep and treacherous ascend. You cross the tree line and drive in barren rocky surroundings up to Sach Pass at 4414 meters. You pay your respect at the temple at the pass and descend to its meadows which are full of numerous Himalayan flowers in July and August.   19. Day 19: Chamba - Dharamshala (190 kilometers / 118 miles, 5 hours)

    Today, you start your day with a climb to Jot from where you ride down to the Kangra valley and follow a highway to reach Dharamshala. Dharamshala, a famous hill station in Kangra valley, is also home to the Tibetan refugee community and is home to His Holiness The Dalai Lama. In the evening, you explore Mc Leodganj visiting Bhagsunag temple, St Johns Church in the Wilderness, and Dalai Lama temple. You spend some more time walking around the colorful Mc Leodganj market before heading back to your hotel to retire for the night.

  20. Day 20: Dharamshala - Manali (240 kilometers / 149 miles, 8 hours)

    Today is the last long ride. You cross Kangra valley riding by tea gardens and lovely villages. You visit the 11th-century Vaidyanath temple at Baijnath and continue your ride taking a mountain road up to Kandi Galu which is a small mountain pass entering Kullu valley. You follow the river beas to reach your hotel at Manali. Check-in and overnight at hotel.

  21. Day 21: In Manali

    Day free to relax in Manali. Engage in some café hoping at old Manali or visit Hadimba Devi temple and Manali market. If you are left with some more energy ride to Sollang Valley and Atal Rohtang Tunnel which is longest tunnel in World above 3000 m altitude. Overnight at hotel.

  22. Day 22: Depart Manali

    Intime transfer to Kullu airport to connect your flight back to Delhi.
