Itinerary
Day 1: Leh Arrival
Welcome to Leh! Finally, your dream trip is going to start. Go 360 will start their services from the airport. They will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel. It will be acclimatization day, and you will rest for a day, which is very important. Later in the evening, you can visit Leh Bazaar, Shanti Stupa, and Leh Palace (these sightseeing trips can also be done on the second day). Overnight stay in a hotel.
Day 2: Leh to Sham Valley (45 km / 28 miles, 1 hour one way)
After a scrumptious breakfast, be ready for adventure. Gear up and head out and explore the beautiful land of Leh. Visit the Hall of Fame and feel the pull of the Magnetic Hill. Pray at the Gurudwara Pathar Sahib and watch the marvelous sight of the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers. Later return to Leh, visiting Magnetic Hill en route. Overnight stay is provided at Leh.
Day 3: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass (125 km / 78 miles, 5 hours)
In the morning, Go 360 will take you to Khardungla Pass, which was the world’s highest motorable road, situated at 18,400 feet, before Umling La Pass gets opened. You will also visit Diskit, headquarters of Nubra Valley. Its attraction is that of an ancient monastery that was built in the 14th century and is one of the oldest monasteries in Nubra Valley. Day 4: Nubra to Pangong via Shyok (160 km / 99 miles, 5 hours)
After breakfast, take a stroll around the place to see the lifestyle of people living in the northernmost region of India. Proceed to Pangong Lake via the Shyok Route. Pangong Lake is a saltwater body of 120 km in length and 6–7 km broad at the longest point. It is bisected by the international border between India and China (2/3 of the lake is in China’s possession). Get ready to check another location that would leave you awestruck, the Pangong Lake! The first view of the lake will leave you spellbound as you breathe that in. A sumptuous dinner with a chit-chat session would bring an end to the day. You will ride back to Leh, crossing Changla Pass at 17,350 ft. It is one of the highest motorable roads in the world.
