The terrain in Ladakh is challenging, with about 70% tarmac roads and 30% off-road sections. A Ladakh bike trip is considered moderately difficult due to the high altitude, tough terrain, and varying weather conditions. The Royal Enfield Himalayan 411cc is ideal for the Ladakh terrain. Other bikes may be available, but upgrades will depend on their condition and availability. On this tour, you will get to visit Pangong and majestic lakes, various attractions in Leh, Nubra, and historical sites and interesting places in Srinagar.

  1. Day 1: Arrive in Leh

    - Leh altitude - 3,500 m Welcome to the gateway of your Himalayan adventure! After your thrilling flight over snow-capped peaks, The Dream Riders Group's team will greet you at the Leh Airport and escort you to your hotel. This first day will be all about acclimatizing to the high altitude, so take it slow: hydrate with at least three and a half liters of water, limit movement, and give your body the rest it needs to adjust. In the evening, participants will gather for a detailed orientation session where they'll cover the route, riding etiquette, and tips for the journey ahead. Afterward, you

  2. Day 2: Leh - Khardung La - Nubra Valley (130 km / 155.34 miles - four to five hours)

    - Leh altitude - 3,500 m - Nubra Valley altitude - 3,160 m Gear up for one of the most thrilling rides of your journey! This day, you will ascend to Khardung La, one of the highest motorable passes in the world at a staggering altitude of 5,359 m. The ride might be short at just 40 km, but the climb will be intense. You'll feel the power drop in your engine and the thinning air as you climb 1,859 m. You will begin your journey following the course of the Shyok River, whose name translates to "The River of Death" in the local language - a hint of the adventure that lies ahead. On this tour, you will be provided with a vegetarian breakfast, including ovo-vegetarian options such as eggs or an omelet, as well as dinner. The meals will primarily feature Indian and Tibetan cuisine, with non-vegetarian options available at certain locations, depending on availability. You can find a variety of food in Ladakh, including vegetarian dishes and local specialties like spicy Thukpa. Water is considered to be the main cause for tummy bug so only drink bottled water and avoid eating salads, unless you are eating at a high-end hotel. If you have any special dietary requirements, it is recommended to inform The Dream Riders Group before making your reservation.
