Itinerary

  1. Day 1: Leh Arrival

    Hello and Julley, welcome to Leh. Finally, your dream trip is going to start. Services will begin from the airport, where you will be picked up and transferred to the hotel. This day is reserved for acclimatization, and you will rest for the day, which is very important. Later in the evening, you can visit Leh Bazaar, Shanti Stupa, and Leh Palace (or these sightseeing activities can be done on the second day). Overnight stay at the hotel.

  2. Day 2: Leh to Sham Valley (45 kilometers / 28 miles – 1 hour one way)

    After a scrumptious breakfast, be ready for adventure. Gear up and head out to explore the beautiful land of Leh. Visit the Hall of Fame and feel the pull of Magnetic Hill. Pray at Gurudwara Pathar Sahib and witness the marvelous confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers. Later, return to Leh and visit Magnetic Hill en route. Overnight stay is provided in Leh.

  3. Day 3: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass (125 kilometers / 78 miles – 5 hours)

    In the morning, you will be taken to Khardung La Pass, which was the world’s highest motorable road at 18,400 feet before Umling La Pass opened. Continue to Diskit, the headquarters of Nubra Valley. One of its main attractions is the ancient monastery built in the 14th century, one of the oldest monasteries in Nubra Valley. Experience a sense of calm and spirituality while exploring this historic site.   4. Day 4: Turtuk Day Excursion (90 kilometers / 56 miles – one way)

    After breakfast, you will head towards Turtuk Village, a village recaptured by India from Pakistan in 1971. This is the last village on the Indian side near the Pakistan border. Visit the LOC areas of Thang and Tyakshi villages. Turtuk falls in Baltistan and remained under Pakistani control until 1971, making it predominantly Muslim. Do not miss the opportunity to interact with the locals and experience their friendly behavior—the atmosphere feels like being in Pakistan.   5. Day 5: Nubra to Pangong via Shyok (160 kilometers / 99 miles – 5 hours)

    After breakfast, take a stroll around the area to observe the lifestyle of people living in the northernmost region of India. Proceed to Pangong Lake via the Shyok route. Pangong Lake is a saltwater body approximately 120 kilometers (75 miles) long and 6–7 kilometers (3.7–4.3 miles) wide at its broadest point. It is bisected by the international border between India and China, with two-thirds of the lake in Chinese territory.   6. Day 6: Pangong to Leh (130 kilometers / 81 miles – 5 hours)

    Get ready to bid farewell to Pangong Lake, a destination that leaves everyone awestruck. The first view of the lake will leave you spellbound. After soaking in the experience, you will travel back to Leh, crossing Chang La Pass at 17,350 feet, one of the highest motorable roads in the world. The journey offers breathtaking views and mind-blowing landscapes. En route, visit Rancho School (also known as the 3 Idiots School), Thiksey Monastery, and Shey Monastery. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

  7. Day 7: Departure
