Let me start by saying WOW. The tour/adventure was amazing. We were picked up from the airport and taken to hotel as advised we would be. After a day on the road we sat down with Himanshu and altered the itinerary so we had one less day in Delhi and extra day on the road. Nothing was too much trouble for Himanshu and his team. The pace was just right for me (I'm 60+). You may think 200km is not a lot (I'm from Australia) but in a busy country like India it's a long way. Ride defensive, the cows are everywhere and you would not want to hit one. The rest day in jaipur is a must. It is well timed and jaipur was a highlight. The 350 royal Enfield performed well. I had a pillion who somedays preferred to sit with Himanshu in the support vehicle. Again Nothing was too much trouble. The driver kept a steady pace so I could keep up. I ride a 1000cc daily at home. I would say a novice rider may struggle in the cities. The traffic is beyond hectic. However, we saw some amazing places not normally experienced by tourists. On the last day Himanshu spared me having to ride back to the hotel in Delhi. We took a taxi to the hotel and the driver returned the motorbike. I can't thank Himanshu and his team enough. We met as strangers and left as friends with memories Danielle and I will never forget.
India and Rajahstan is a magical place full of incredible sights and sounds, tastes and experiences. While sometimes at the edge (or over) of your comfort zone, embrace every moment and appreciate everything. Ride a Royal Enfield motorcycle through the most challenging traffic possible and celebrate it. Wonderful holiday and exhilarating experience (and I'm 67).
