Itinerary
Day 1: Bali to Banyuwangi
Starting from the home base near Seminyak in the south of Bali, you will have a short briefing and morning snack. You will start riding through Canggu on narrow roads. You will drive through traditional villages and see Balinese crafts, as well as the real life of people living there. After a short sightseeing and break, you will ride from Tabanan to the west and across the mountains to the north coast of Bali. You will stop for some pictures around the rice paddies, local villages, and Balinese life. It will be a relaxed ride with less traffic but a lot of curves. You will catch many of these
Day 2: Kawah Ijen Volcano, Banyuwangi
You will wake up really early at 01:00 in the morning. After a short preparation, leave the guesthouse and ride to Kawah Ijen. The air will be refreshing. Your parking place will be the ranger station at 1,800 meters' altitude. You will receive masks to protect you from the sulfur smell inside the crater. Climb the volcano rim afterward. The path is steep but very well developed, and you will not be alone. After a one-and-a-half to two-hour hike with some breaks, you will arrive at the hut of the sulfur miners. From there, trek from the last peak to the crater rim at 2,200 meters altitude on t
Day 3: Baluran National Park, Situbondo
Your tour will start after breakfast. Ride from Kawah Ijen and follow a rural road from the high of the plateau to Bondowoso in the lowland. En route, you will see a coffee plantation and some other great views around the volcanic mountain. Later, you will enjoy your ride on many curvy roads under the shadow of the trees. After arriving on the main road, you will witness the pure Indonesian life. Then, ride north and pass Situbondo. Day 4: Baluran National Park to Bali
On this day, you will go back to Bali via ferry. On your ride back to Seminyak, you will not ride on the same roads as the first day. You will pass Mundunk, Lake Buyan, Bedugul, and Lake Beratan, with many stops for pictures. Have your lunch and cafe break accompanied by the lakes and the mountains. Depending on how fast you ride, there will be a possibility to swim in the waterfall or visit a Balinese temple. On small roads parallel to the crowded main roads, you will arrive at Motor Adventure Bali's home base in the late afternoon.

Accommodation
Throughout the tour, you will stay at several different accommodations. On your first night, you will stay at a little guesthouse with a lovely tropical garden at the foot of a volcano mountain. For your second night, you will stay at a guesthouse with a pool and a restaurant. For the last night of the tour, you will have two options. You can stay at a ranger station with basic double rooms in the middle of the wildlife, or you can stay at a hotel. Getting There
This tour will take place around Bali, Banyuwangi, and Situbondo. The main roads are in very good condition. Local tracks are partly in a bad condition, but are suitable for enduro motorcycles. The roads will be partly dirt, gravel roads, and very little traffic (except in Bali). Some parts are even gravel with light sandy passages. This was an amazing experience. The riding is varied, the views and scenery is spectacular, the company was fantastic. Holger's planning of the tour was exceptional and we did not want for anything. I only spent maybe $30 of money on tat. There are no shops to buy souvenirs, it's purely for riding. The riding requires intense concentration at a couple of times but it was entirely a very pleasurable experience. The trip to the volcano requires a degree of fitness. We all chose the Versys 250 which was a very capable bike and I would recommend it for this trip.Thank you Holger and my two friends. Danke schõn!
Everything was precisely organized. Bikes were new and well equipped. The guide was a great person to ride with. The whole tour was a good composition of all kinds of roads with its deal of sharp turns, steep climbs, bumpy countryside and deep wet dirt. Basicly I had all I wanted to and some more. I even suspect that they can somehow arrange weather)
