Lombok is an island located to the east of the popular tourist destination of Bali. It is a part of the Lesser Sunda Islands and is known for its stunning natural beauty, diverse landscapes, and vibrant culture. With its pristine beaches, lush tropical forests, and towering volcanoes, Lombok offers a diverse range of natural wonders that cater to both adventure enthusiasts and those in search of relaxation.
The tour will start early in the morning. You will pass Denpasar, Bali’s at this time seemingly deserted capital, and go eastward. It’ll be a 50km-ride to the harbor of Padang Bai, where you will board the ferry to Lombok. After five hours on the ferry and a refreshment stop at a nearby convenience store, you will turn northward and follow the coastline, bypassing Lombok’s capital, Mataram. Then, it’ll be time for a picnic at Gili Kondo, and there will also be the occasion for swimming and snorkeling. Once back at the harbour, the hotel will be just some hundred meters away.
Accommodation will be in middle-class hotels with air-conditioned rooms.
