Upon arrival at the airport in the capital of Croatia, Zagreb, you will meet your tour guide. You can spend the day sightseeing or go straight to the hotel, depending on your choice. It is already common to organize a short initial ride so you can get comfortable with the bikes, because it would be a real shame not to use the bikes waiting in the hotel parking lot. In the evening, a traditional dinner is planned with a discussion about routes, motorbikes, roads, and any questions you may have.
You will head out on a beautiful adventure in the morning hours. Your first day of riding ends in Admont, a beautiful Austrian town famous for the world’s largest monastery library. You will be taking the route through Northern Croatia, Slovenia, and the famous Route 69 in Austria. A dinner for the whole group is organized in Admont, and a visit to the local library is recommended.
After breakfast, the goal is to visit Zell Am See. You will ride to Hallstatt, a village on the southwestern shore of Lake Hallstatt, located in the Austrian region of Salzkammergut in Upper Austria, which is best known for its oldest salt mine. Hallstatt, together with Dachstein Mountain, forms a cultural landscape of Salzkammergut, which was entered into the UNESCO World Heritage list in 1997. A walk through this beautiful town is planned before heading toward Zell Am See, where an organized dinner and overnight stay are planned.
Grossglockner Pass, Grossglockner High Alpine Road. Today, you will experience a spectacular alpine ride, reaching the highest elevation of 2,504 meters / 8,215 feet and enjoying breathtaking views. After taking photos and a short stop, you will continue to Italy, with Bolzano as the destination, while riding through amazing scenery. In Bolzano, an organized dinner and overnight stay are planned.
This is a short break day. It can be used to prepare for the next pass or to visit Verona, the city of Romeo and Juliet, on your own. You may also prefer a relaxing ride along Lago di Garda, a famous tourist destination. Assistance will be provided for organizing activities. Dinner and overnight stay will be in Bolzano.
Today, you will conquer Passo Stelvio. It is the main reason for this trip, with its highest point reaching 2,758 meters / 9,048 feet. It will be a challenging ascent for the bikes. At the top, there will be time to take photos and enjoy the surrounding natural beauty. The descent will continue on the southern side toward Bormio, where dinner, photo sharing, and rest will follow.
This day is dedicated to returning via spectacular mountain roads and passes. Cortina d’Ampezzo, a famous Italian ski resort, is the final destination for today. There will be time for a short stroll, sightseeing in the Alpine town, and dinner with the group.
Today’s route will include beautiful Dolomite roads such as Agordo Valley, Duran Pass, Zoldo Valley, Staulanza Pass, Selva di Cadore, and Giau Pass on the way to Tarvisio, where dinner and overnight stay are planned.
Travel from Italy through Slovenia and back into Croatia while passing beautiful mountain passes, towns, and villages. Dinner will be held in Motovun, a lovely Istrian town where you can experience the spirit of Istria, taste truffle specialties, and enjoy Istrian wines.
This is an active rest day. At dusk, travel to Rovinj for a short city walk and sunset viewing. Swimming in the sea is also possible.
This is the last day of motorcycle riding. The route will pass through Buzet, Kotli, and Hum (the smallest town in the world), then continue to Opatia, a famous tourist destination, before heading to Zagreb after a coffee stop.
Breakfast will be served in Zagreb. Airport transfers will be arranged. The memories, experiences, and friendships made during the journey are the most important part of this trip. Safe flight and hope to see you again.
