Our group of 10 friends decided to venture out on a motorcycle tour comprising of mountains/Alps and sea lines in Italy and France regions. We embarked on this journey and what awaits us was a spectacular experience. Stayed at this Boutique hotel in La Morra, Italy, and I’m running short on words to describe our wonderful experience. Firstly the location, most authentic Italian experience perhaps one can imagine (in my opinion). Very picturesque views of the vine valley, most friendly people and delicious food. About Bruno - Most patient, knowledgeable and an exceptional host i must say. Each and everyone at this hotel were extremely welcoming, this is a rare find. Our stay at this place exceeded our expectations. And Italian cuisine in La Morra was simply mouthwatering. The rides were largely on traffic-free roads at an enjoyable pace (with occasional traffic given the holiday timeframe). We started our ascent to the mountains with ecstatic views and rides along the coastline of Finale Ligure were breathtaking. We experienced twisting, turning roads and sweeping bends that climb higher and higher, giving stunning views over the mountains and landscape below. Turn after turn, one after another, demanded full concentration and commitment, but we loved every second of it. We would like conclude this review by saying a big thank you to Bruno for giving us an experience of a lifetime. Grazie Mille Bruno. Ciao.
Everything. Bruno is a great guy, incredible hotelier and enthusiastic guide. All 3 days were a mix of asphalt and off-road based on questions he asked me about my riding experience. It was just the two of us with a local buddy joining us on days 1 and 2 which added to the fun. I am above average in my off road skills and Bruno was able to guide us to trails that were very challenging at times but achievable. Day 1 was to the Mediterranean coast. Days 2 and 3 were west to different parts of the Alps. We stopped each day for espresso in the morning and lunch in the afternoon. Rides were from 9 to 5 or so. His family runs a beautiful small hotel in La Morra. Breakfast is amazing. My room was very nice and quiet even though it was on the courtyard pool area. Dinner could be found a few hundred yards away in one of the many restaurants.
I had 2 amazing days on a nice and new BMW. Bruno knows the region very well, so I'm sure we drove on the best streets and paths - he is also good at judging your MC skill level and adjusting the route based on that. The places we visited during the tour was very unique and welcoming. The second day through in the Alps between Italy and France was mind blowingly beautiful. The hotel is beautiful and cozy - a great place to relax after riding. Breakfast is superb to fuel you for the day as well, and the staff is super helpful and kind.
