Established in 2013, Piemonte Motorcycle Tours offers this exclusive “short tour / weekend break”. This is a unique “rural” motorcycling experience with Harley-Davidson motorcycle enthusiasts in mind. The ride comprises a series of hub rides starting and finishing at your luxury bed and breakfast accommodation. You will cruise along stunningly scenic routes, through medieval villages, the famous vineyards of Barolo, and along the “Italian Riviera” passing through tranquil coastal villages. Visit a local winery for a wine tasting experience and sample the famous culinary delights of this prized region of Northern Italy.

Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival in Italy and collection from Turin Airport (TRN). Luxury minibus transport to “Cascina Belbo” and check-in. After settling in, there will be a short briefing about the tour programme and time for any questions. Evening meal at a local restaurant.
Day 2
Breakfast, followed by a leisurely cruise to the hills, vineyards, and ancient villages around Barolo. There will be a brief stop in the Roman town of Alba for a light lunch and then back on the bikes and into the hills for a scenic route through more vineyards ending back at base in the late afternoon. There will be a brief time to freshen up and change, then a short minibus ride to a winery for a tasting session followed by dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 3
Breakfast, followed by a twisty ride down to a nearby market town. Then, a ride along the Tanaro valley with long sweeping curves to the town of Garessio. At this point, you shall take a comfort break before heading into the forested foothills of the Maritime Alps that fringe the Ligurian coastline. A beautiful winding road takes you down to the “Italian Riviera” where you shall follow the coast road stopping at a small town for a late lunch. You will continue to follow the coast road for a while then head inland and up into the “Langhe” hills again for a brisk ride back to base. Time to fresh

Breakfast, farewells, and transportation to the airport, until next time.

From the minute Mike Bastow picked me and my wife (Maureen) up at the train station in Torino to the last seconds of our trip (one of the saddest moments ever) there was this instant bond that only Harley Riders can comprehend. If you want to enjoy some of the most scenic views in the world, have some of the most flavorful foods, wines, cheeses, and most of all....meet two of the nicest people in the world (both Mike and his beautiful, kind, funny wife Zohreh) book your customized tour with Piedmonte Bike Tours ASAP!!!! The warmth you feel will make you want to never leave. As you approach the beautiful farm house, which has amazing views, you get chills down your spine. As we entered the B&B, we where greeted with delicious wines, cheeses, meats, and olives....better than any Five Star hotel we have ever booked. Mike and Zohreh made us feel as though we have known each other for years. The planned tours were amazing!!! We saw parts of Italy that only locals witness. The fleet of Harleys were spotless, had low mileage, and ran like my own Harley back in the US. This was our first trip to Italy and I can honestly say it was the most memorable trip of my life. Before the tour even ended, we were making plans on returning. However; next time we are going to stay a lot longer...minimum one week.
