Seeing the Dolomites should be on the bucket list of every adventurer and biker, and includes spectacular mountains, lakes and valleys.
The first day, you will stay in Krk at the Marina Hotel, where you gather, get to know each other and where you will leave from the next day. You will agree on the itinerary. After that, you will have a guided tour of the city, free time and dinner in one of the many local restaurants.
As usual, a beautiful and sunny day dawned, coffee, agreement and you leave around 10:00 am. You drive over Pasjak, on the highway to Udine, exit at Tolmezzo, and go to the first Passo Mauria at 1,295 meters. This route, through small towns and forests, is interesting, with good roads and full of fun. It has a nice number of "hairpins" on the Michelozzo side and then a long winding, winding road down into the valley. Next you go to Passo Tre Crocci 1,814 meters. Passo Tre Croci is low and simple. There are only a few small hairpins and snakes, not zig-zag turns. The road from Misurino is very
So, the first beautiful day is dawning, as if born to ride on alpine passes. After breakfast, you leave for Passo Vasparola 2,192 meters. The top is dark and bare, with rocks and ski slopes, but the road descends very quickly into a dense forest. The road has been repaired and is now quite pleasant to drive on. You continue to Corvara, from where you go over Passo Campolongo 1,875 meters to Arraba. It's easy to get through and ideal for warming up for the rest of the area. The first part of this pass above Corvara has several hairpins, which are wide and with good visibility. You descend to Ar
Today, again after breakfast, you get on the motorbikes around 10:00 am. In beautiful sunny weather, you go on one of the shortest tours, about 80 kilometers. You are heading towards Marmolada. You continue on, through the beautiful valley from Rocca Pietora, to Passo Fedaia at 2,057 meters. There, you pass from the north side under the great Marmolade mountain. Because of the ski resort, the road is mostly good. Towards Canazei, the road is quite fast, with only about 5 open hairpins that take you down from the top of Fedaia. At the top on the left is the Marmolada group, which contains the h
A beautiful day calls you to new adventures. Breakfast was great, and around 10:00, you set off again for a short drive. So, through the Campolongo and Corvara passes, you continue north towards Zwischenwasser (Longega), St. Vigil (Bozen) and over the Furkelpass, which is at 1,759 meters. The road is quite narrow and winding, but there is very little traffic, the asphalt is good and there is generally good visibility on the bends. A very nice drive through the forests and low mountains of the Dolomites. You can stop there for a while, rest and continue on towards Bozen, to Toblach. In Villabas
A beautiful morning dawns again. Breakfast - done. You are going on a tour around Marmolada, but this time from its southern side. At 10:00 a.m., you head west over Passo Pordoijoch 2,239 meters towards Cannazei, to Moena and Marmolado - Passo San Pellegrino at 1,918 meters. You stop there, take some pictures and continue towards Falcada and Agordo. The road is mostly good, a bit narrower and leads through the forest. Along the way, you stop as desired, follow the road to Trento and Bassano del Grappa, where you stop in the center to look around the town and the wooden bridge. You continue to
Last day. The return begins. You get up again around 10:00 a.m. and a beautiful sunny day. No clouds anywhere. You are leaving Valdobbiadena for Conegliano, so on the highway to Trieste. After the border, you stop in Burja for lunch, to compare your impressions. You will be home around 18:00. Again, you will sleep in a hotel in Krk.
Departure day, the day to return. You go directly home, without any special goals, with the aim of avoiding highways - only locally, to see as much as possible. Admittedly, this tour is much slower, but more beautiful and interesting. Thanks for hanging out... Great company, you saw a lot, and passed 15 passes in 6 days, some more than once. You covered a total of 1,190 kilometers, which is an average of about 200 kilometers per day. The tours were relatively short and this is a "Par exelans" holiday. They look forward to seeing you again.
You will be accommodated at comfortable, high rated hotels and B and Bs in double rooms.
The package includes daily breakfast.
The tour will start and end in Krk, Croatia and pass through Arabba, Val Gardena, Canazei, Tolbach, Cortina d Ampezzo, and Valdobbiadene.
