Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival in Marrakesh

   Upon arriving at the airport, the staff will meet you and take you on a guided walk around the old medina of Marrakesh after a quick stop in the hotel. Through the narrows streets and colorful markets, the guide will provide valuable insights and information about the Moroccan culture, traditions and history, your guide will lead you back for a briefing dinner to be freshly prepared for the tour. - Accommodation: 4 stars Hotel, Kasbah, Riad, or equivalent

2. Day 2: Marrakesh - Taliouine

   You will leave Marrakesh early in the morning and head toward the heart of the High Atlas Mountains, climbing the legendary Tizi n'Test Pass, known for its breathtaking panoramic views overlooking both sides of the Atlas. Along the way, you will pass through Berber villages and verdant valleys, stopping for lunch at the top of the mountain pass. Afterward, descend the southern slopes of the Atlas Mountains and continue along straight roads that cross the Souss plain before arriving at Taliouine, the saffron village.    You will depart from Taliouine in the morning, riding towards Nkob, the town of 1000 kasbahs. The journey takes you along the dramatic desert landscapes of the Anti-Atlas Mountains. The rocky hills and arid plains give way to the lush palm groves of the Draa Valley, one of the largest palm oasis valleys in the world. Continue riding through long, straight desert roads, feeling the vastness of the landscape. As you approach Nkob, the silhouettes of ancient kasbahs begin to appear on the horizon. 4. Day 4: Nkob - Dades Valley

   Depart from Taliouine and ride towards the famous Todgha and Dades Canyons. This journey takes you through the rugged Djebel Saghro, a volcanic mountain range known for its dramatic rock formations, often compared to the landscapes of the American Southwest. Cross the remote and scenic Tizi n'Tazazert Pass (2,283 meters) before leaving the Anti-Atlas and re-entering the High Atlas Mountains. 5. Day 5: Dades Valley - Ait Behaddou

   The next day, leave the Dades Valley and ride through the famous Rose Valley, known for its fragrant Damask roses and the annual Rose Festival. The valley is dotted with a succession of Berber villages and lush gardens surrounded by pink-hued cliffs. Continue towards Ouarzazate, often called the "Hollywood of Morocco" for its famous film studios and role as a backdrop for many international movies. 6. Day 6: Ait Benhaddou - Marrakech

   The next day, you will leave Ait Benhaddou and follow the scenic Ounila Valley, once a key route for ancient caravans transporting goods like salt, spices, and gold between the Sahara and Marrakesh. The valley is rich in history and dotted with old kasbahs and small Berber villages. Continue riding until we reach the famous Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 meters), the most famous paved mountain pass in Morocco.
