Itinerary

  1. Day 1: Welcome to Kathmandu

    - Altitude: 1370 meters / 4494 feet Airport transfer and check into the hotel. A short briefing about the tour will be carried out at the hotel lobby along with the safety and the proper speed to ride on the roads of Nepal. After the briefing, everyone will be handed the keys to the motorcycles and check the bike of their selection by riding around the hotel area. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

  2. Day 2: Ride Kathmandu to Jagat (205 kilometers / 127 miles / 7 - 8 hours)

    - Altitude: 2650 meters / 8694 feet After breakfast, you will be met by the road captain and the rest of the team at the hotel lobby and ride to Jagat. You will negotiate the traffic out of the Kathmandu city and descend to Naubise, 26 kilometer marker (about 17 kilometers / 11 miles from Nagdhunga). Continue riding to Mugling, till you reach Dumre then take a turn for Besisahar and Jagat. The ride from Besisahar to Jagat (34 kilometers / 21 miles / 2 hours) is one of the most difficult terrains.   3. Day 3: Ride Jagat to Manang (62 kilometers / 39 miles / 4 hours)

    - Altitude: 3519 meters / 11545 feet From Jagat, you will ride out to the valley of Manang. The ride is easy at first and then gets a bit challenging as you move up. As you move forward, you will arrive at Pisang village which almost feels like you have time traveled to the past. Beautiful houses and stoned paved path and the fluttering of many prayer flags glorify the natural beauty of Pisang.   4. Day 4: Excursion around Manang

    Today, you explore the Manang and ride up to Kangsar which is located at 3745 meters (12226 feet) altitude. You will ride a motorbike up to the Khangsar which takes 40 minutes. You may also walk around the village and visit the monastery with your own and hike up to Gangapurna Base Camp (3800 meters / 12467 feet). Overnight at lodge in Manang.

  5. Day 5: Ride Manang to Besisahar to Riepe Village (125 kilometers / 78 miles / 7 hours)

    - Altitude: 1250 meters / 4101 feet After breakfast, start the ride by back tracking the same road to Besisahar. The route is rough but is adorned with many waterfalls and natural hot spring and the snaking Marsayangdi River accompanies you throughout. You will arrive at Besisahar and continue to Kalimati near Turture, Here, you will take a right turn via the village of Chisopani and up to the village of Riepe at 1250 meters (4101 feet).   6. Day 6: Ride Riepe Village to Pokhara (93 kilometers / 58 miles / 4 hours)

    - Altitude: 827 meters / 2713 feet From the beautiful Riepe Village, you will make your way back to Dumre. The mountains disappear as you get back to the lushly forested region. You will descend all the way to Dumre, where you will join up with the main Kathmandu Pokhara highway. From Dumre, head west following the Marshyangdi River for a while and ride through terraced agricultural lands and small road side villages.   7. Day 7: Free day or optional city tour in Pokhara

    Early morning drive to Sarangkot Sunrise and Mountain View Point. Drive back and have a breakfast. After breakfast, drive for sightseeing Davis Falls, old market places, and Tibetan Refugee camp. In the evening, enjoy boating in Phewa Lake and visit Tal Barahi Temple (situated in the middle of the Phewa Lake). Overnight at hotel in Pokhara.

  8. Day 8: Get dusty - ride from Pokhara to Nuwakot (185 kilometers / 115 miles / 6 hours)

    Head east alongside the Trishuli River as it detours from the highway all the way to Nuwakot. You’ll have the chance to visit the Nuwakot Palace once you arrive at your very special accommodation. You'll take a short walk to see the seven-storey ancient fort palace of Nuwakot. Overnight at Famous Farm in Nuwakot.

  9. Day 9: Back to Kat - ride from Nuwakot to Kathmandu (70 kilometers / 43 miles / 3.5 hours)

    After breakfast, ride from Famous Farm to Kathmandu via Shivpuri Forest Reserve. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

  10. Day 10: Final departure

    After breakfast, you are free until the flight time, later transfer to the airport for the onward flight.

During this tour, you will be accommodated in the best available guest houses / lodges on twin sharing basis and in three-star hotels in Kathmandu and Pokhara.
